HUG  12/16/10

At that point, all I felt was that I’m gone

Erased from sight of everyone else in this world

Just you and me in a position I never expected

I couldn’t see anybody else but just us

I couldn’t hear any sound of their mischievous taunts

I couldn’t feel their heavy stares drilling through my soul

This used to be so normal for us to do

But now I’m jumping for joy after I hugged you

A sudden rush of emotions clash together

As I felt our bodies touch each other

It seemed to have lasted forever

But it wasn’t more than 10 seconds

Unimaginable adrenaline of glee rushed through my veins

Taking control of me as it reigns

Hot and cold played with my temperature

The warmth of your arms wrapped around me

And my grip on your cold leather jacket

My heart drummed viciously on my chest

I can’t take this dumb grin off my face

My mind spins around bringing me into a daze

I think I’m going insane

But I know this is the answers to all of my questions

This is the relief of our endless competitions

Finally ending our unending complications
