Chapter 14

BTW 7 VOTES TO UPDATE.

"What the hell is that?" I asked, peering down at something Blake had passed me.

"I don't know. I decided to try a random recipie in this cookbook," he muttered, poking at the lumps of white flesh on the tray. "I think it's called tripe."

"EWW," I squealed, flinging a piece at his face.

"What?"

"Tripe is in a cows stomach, idiot," I told him, shuddering as i pushed my plate away from me.

"Oh crap," he muttered, looking down at the cookbook in his hands angrily.

"You seriously suck at regaining your goodness," I told him and he laughed at me.

"Regaining my goodness?" he asked. I just shrugged my shoulders and stood up from my chair.

"Whatever. Point is, you've failed," I told him and began to walk away. Soon i felt arms wrap around my waist and spin me around. I subtly adjusted the tiny camera in my headband. It was like real spy gear.

"Oh really," Blake said, half smirking as he normally did. He brushed a piece of hair away from my face, leaving a trail of sensitive tingling skin where he touched. Damn, those eyes.

Wait, what.

No way was I going to fall for his gorgeousness again. He was a jerk and a player on the inside.

With a small dick I bet. Hahahaha.

"Get off," I told him, pushing him arm length away from me. He looked startled for a minute; eyes wide and lips parted as if to say something, but he regained his composure quickly.

"Want to go to the duck pond?" He asked me and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"There's no duck pond around here," I told him and he frowned.

"Oh ya."

Change that, a stupid jerk and player.

"Well bye," I said, waving at him and he looked surprised again.

"Wait you're leaving?"

"There's nothing else to do," I muttered and he frowned. Suddenly his face lit up.

"Movie!" He shouted, grabbing my arm and pulling me up the stairs to his room.

"I don't want to watch a movie," I whined.

"Too bad."

"Fine, what are we watching?" I asked, giving up. I sat down on his bed and he grabbed a movie off of a nearby shelf.

"Finding Nemo," he answered and my eyebrows went up in surprise.

"Too scared to watch another horror movie?" I teased, smirking at him.

"I'm not a sick person like you," He told me shaking his head. "like, ew."

I laughed and shook my head. Soon we were just sitting there watching the movie and I was aware that Blake kept trying to find a way to hit on me.

"RUN MARTY!" He shouted and i jumped.

"It's Marlin," I told him and he rolled his eyes.

"I'm not good with names."

"Also, hes swimming," I told him and he frowned.

"It would suck to have to swim everywhere."

"Its just like us walking," I told him.

"Exactly."

For a football player he sure was lazy.

I looked down at my phone to check the time. 9:00.

"Crap," I said, jumping up and running out of the room. Blake followed me to the door of his house.

Dad and I had moved back home yesterday, and being two hours late going home...well, lets just say I was in trouble.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"I have to go im really late," I said in a rush, then ducked out the door.

I pulled off my heels then broke out in a sprint home.

I was a decent runner, but not great so i stopped a few times to catch my breath.

I eased open my door slowly, looking around for my dad. There was no sign of him.

I started to sneak towards the stairs when a large blow knocked me to the ground.

Pain travelled up and down my side and I gasped in shock.

"Where the hell were you," he asked and i brushed away a runaway tear.

"Out."

"You were probably banging some douche. Get the hell upstairs," he said. He wasnt yelling but I could hear the anger in his voice.

I walked upstairs, into my room and shut the door.

Then i laid down on my bed and began to cry.
