I stood next to Esmea as she spoke with Louis. I’ve missed this so much. I miss having everyone together again. It feels like forever since we’ve all been together.

“Why haven’t I heard about him?”Niall asked, after picking up Darcy who snuggled into his neck.

“He was always at my mum’s. “Esmea replied.

“Dad why don’t they know about me? Are you embarrassed by me? “Chase asked me, before his eyes started water.

“Father? “Louis asked, before looking at Esmea, raising his eyebrow then looking at me.

“Louis I’ll explain it later okay. “Esmea said.

“You bet you will. “Louis said. He didn’t seem mad, but he did seem disappointed.

“Mumma.” Chase cried before running towards me, before burying his head into my leg.

“Oh chase. “Esmea said crouching down, before turning her head to Trevor who was still attached to my side. “Trevor can I talk with chase for a while? “She questioned.

“Sure. “Trevor said, nodding his head before running over to Zayn before Zayn picked him up.

“Come here pumpkin. “Esmea said softly before picking chase up in my arms.

“Dad’s embarrassed by me.”Chase cried as he fisted his fits in Esmea’s shirt before he buried her head in the crook of her neck.

 “You know your dad isn’t like that baby. Remember how I told you how he was superman that he was out saving the world. “Esmea said, rubbing his back, which calmed him down a little.

“But Mumma he didn’t tell anyone about me.”He said, as he was wiping his tears.

“He didn’t know about you baby.” Esmea.

“Why not? “Chase asked, confused.

“Mumma was scared. Something happened between Mumma and your dad before you were born.”

“So dad isn’t embarrassed by me? “He asked before he started to cry again. Esmea quickly shook her head before looking at me. I gently tapped Chase’s shoulder. He looked at me as I opened my arms out to let him know I wanted a cuddle. He immediately made grabby hands at me.

“I would never be embarrassed by you buddy. “I said genuinely, before I took Chase in my arms from Esmea.

“I’m sorry I’m crying. I’m getting your shirt all wet. “Chase said as he buried his head into into my shoulder. I felt my heart breaking even thinking of what Chase must have thought about me when I wasn’t there with him, from changing his nappies to tucking him in of a night time.
