When I lay with him, my face close to his heart it is nothing but assurance. I could feel and hear his every heartbeat. His embrace giving me warmth.
Siya ang may sakit pero kung yakapin niya ako parang ako pa ang inaalagaan niya. Hindi ko tuloy napigil at inantok na din ako.
As I open my eyes, I rolled to his side of the bed and check where he was and when I did not found him there I opened my eyes.
I sat up, did a little stretching then grabbed my small bag where I put my facial wash and toothbrush and went inside the bathroom to do my morning rituals.
"Good morning!" I greeted Kiefer who's pre-occupied in his cooking. I leaned in the sink, watching him as he turn over the eggs he scrambled.
"Good morning baby, I see you slept well?" He said smirking at me. I checked his neck for his temperature and is pleased to know he's gotten better now.
"Couldn't detest to that babe. Let me just say that you're the hottest when you feed me. So please hurry up." I said and gave his cheek a kiss.
"I know right? Kaya inlove na inlove ka sakin eh." He kid.
"Shut up." I uttered and slap his butt before settling down in one of the chairs in the kitchen table. He just continued laughing.
"Simple ka din eh." He utters and I winked at him.
"Hindi ba umuwi si Thirdy last night? I did not felt his presence." I asked.
"He did, he's sleeping in the guest room. Nahiya sayo lakas mo humilik eh." He said cracking a joke, turning around to check my reaction I gave him a sarcastic smile that made him chuckle even more. Dork.
"Eh si Dani?" I asked again while getting a piece of sausage.
"Sleeping still. Malamang nagmovie marathon yun last night since no school today." He explained, I nodded my head.
"Wag nanaman ikaw lumagare today ah. Kakagaling mo palang po, just to remind you." I saw him putting the eggs in a plate.
"Yes doc. Thanks for looking after me yesterday. You are the best, baby!" He said as he put down the plate in front of me and leaned in for a kiss in the forehead. I closed my eyes.
Kumain lang kami tapos naligo na ko because today's Mama's surprise party. Hinayaan na ko ni Kiefer magdrive pabalik sa bahay, hinatid niya na lang ako hanggang sa kotse ko.
"I'll text and call you later baby." He reminded me. Kiefer had to attend some commitments daw, sinamaan ko siya ng tingin and assured me he won't ever over do things again.
"Alright then, I'll see you later. I love you." Our lips touched and bid goodbyes.

"Happy Birthday Tita." I kissed and hugged her Mama.
"Thanks Kief, loko ka akala ko talaga eh for your propo-" I had to cut Tita.
"Tita the surprises are not over yet. Sssh." My finger on my lips trying to send her the message and when Tita got it, her eyes turned watery.
"Awww. I see. I see!" She said, hugged me again and whispered.. "I'm entrusting her to you. Alam ko namang hindi mo sasaktan ang Potchi ko."
"Salamat Tita." I am nothing but overwhelmed by the trust Mika's parents gave me.
"Kunyari ka pa, I overheard you calling me Mama. You could call me that now." Right now, I'm in cloud 9.
