(Nakaraan)

I went to my car and looked for my pouch. When I saw it, kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at saktong may dumating na text message. It was from David.

*Tara, please be careful.... and don't get hurt.*

What in the world does that mean?

Tara's POV

[ ..please try your call later. ]

I sighed. Ngayon pati si Ca, di na rin makontak. Something's weird. Since the text I got from David, hindi ko na sya makontak uli. I tried. I really tried. Tinawagan ko sya, tinext, pinuntahan sa pad nya. Pero wala talaga. Hindi ko sya makita o makontak. I also tried asking Bianca, but saktong sakto naman, she left with Anton and Angel para sa vacation nila. Hindi ko rin naman sya masisisi kung hindi nya laging hawak ang phone nya. What's wrong?

There was a knock on the door. I was about to ask who is it, but then the door opened and then popped a head. Well, my husband's head.

"Ready for lunch?" He smiled.

I smiled and nodded.

Matapos kaming kumain, dumeretcho kami pabalik ng opisina. Ngayon ay nandito kami sa opisina ni Kent. Hindi pa rin ako matali dahil hindi ko makontak si David. I keep on checking my phone, just in case na may message or call from him.

"What's wrong?" Tanong ni Kent sa akin with a knotted forehead.

I looked at him. "Huh? Wala."

"Come on, love. You keep on checking your phone. Kahit nung kumakain tayo kanina, hindi mo mabitawan yan. Are you waiting for something?" Lumapit ito sa akin and held my hand.

Hinila ako ni Kent sa kanya. Now, he's sitting at the edge of his desk while I'm standing infront of him and playing with his hands as well. "Hmm. Kasi.. I'm.." I looked up to him. Pinakiramdaman ko rin ang mood nito. "I'm waiting for David's call."

Saglit itong natigilan. "Why?"

I playfully hit his arm. "Bakit ka ba natigilan jan? It's just David. Still jealous?"

He sighed. "Look. He wants you. Of course I'd be jealous."

Tumingin ako sa kanya. He is still waiting for a reaction from me. Then I laughed. "Did you hit your head today? Hahaha. David wants me? Sorry baby but are you crazy?"

Kent patiently waited hanggang sa tumigil ako sa pagtawa. But everytime I was about to stop, maalala ko na naman ang sinabi ni Kent at uli uli, matatawa na naman ako. Kent sighed again. "Tingnan mo nga. Kung ganyan ka tumawa ka sa harap nya, malamang magkakagusto talaga sya sayo. You're so free and beautiful love. Kahit sino gugustuhin ka."

Lalo naman akong natawa sa sinabi nya. "Confirmed. You hit your head today. Where?"

"Love ako ang nakakakita. Lalaki rin ako. I know when I see it. He likes you. He wants you."

I shaked my head. "Impossible."

"Whatever you want to believe. But I know what I saw." He cupped my face and looked straight into my eyes. "And love, you don't know how beautiful you are. I'm just so blessed dahil kahit sino pa ang umaligid sayo, you're already mine." He lowered his hand and touch my lower abdomen. "This little one.. sya ang patunay that you are mine. A little symbol of our love for each other."

I smiled. "I love you."

"Wala bang kasamang kiss?" He pouted.

I laughed. "Seriously Kent? Ang tanda mo na. Hindi bagay sayo ang mag-pout."
