I leaned back in the couch, wondering what in the world that was that had just happened between C.C. and me. I blinked a few times, then shook my head. Jinxx came into the room, and looked around. After seeing me sprawled on the couch, he smiled slightly and sat on the chair beside the couch. He played a little with a string dangling off his shirt and looked up at me.
My eyebrows rose, and I said, "For what?"
He looked at me, eyes pleading that I'd just let it go and be his little sister again. No way. I am not that easy to get along with, and when I deserve an apology, I will get one!
"For telling you who you could date.. It was wrong.. I'm sorry."
I looked at him and just sighed. He was totally right on the reasons why I shouldn't date any of the guys... It just always made me mad when people told me what to do. I don't know, I'm weird. Sue me!
"It's fine, Jinxx. Just.. I understand why you don't want me to date the guys. And I respect that. Can we move on?"
He smiled and nodded. "Wanna go do something? We could go see a movie?"
I smiled and nodded. We both grabbed our phones and jackets and headed out the door. Something told me this night might get a little crazy.
* * *
When we walked into the theatre, Jinxx grabbed me and made me walk practically behind him. Now he's being over protective around strangers? Seriously? Just... Ignore it, Ciara. Ignore it.
We walked up to the counter and asked for tickets. Apparently we were seeing Wreck It, Ralph. Not that I have a problem with it, I've been wanting to see it for a while.
I saw some girls walking out of one of the rooms wearing BVB shirts. I smirked and waited for them to notice Jinxx. It wasn't that long of a wait. Once they saw him, all three girls froze and just starred. Jinxx noticed them by now and he smiled slightly.
"You're Jinxx..." One girl said, gaining her composure enough to talk to him.
He nodded and said, "Yeah, and you are?"
She took a deep breath and answered, "Starla."
He smiled at her and looked at the other girls. The girl to the left fumbled in her pockets and frowned.
"The day I forget to bring my sharpie!"
Starla face palmed and the girl to the right sighed. I smiled and reached in my back pocket.
"Here. Have my sharpie."
Jinxx looked at me weirdly and said, "Where did you get that?"
I shrugged. "Never know when you're gonna need a sharpie, eh?"
Jinxx just shook his head and took the sharpie. After he signed what they wanted, the girls turned to me. Whom I know figured out where Starla, Claire, and Rachel.
"Who are you?" They all asked in unison.
I bit the corner of my lip and remembered how I made Jinxx promise not to tell any of the fans he was my older brother. Yeah I know what you're thinking: You're so mean! Jinxx is awesome!
Yeah, I get that. But I didn't feel like having all of the BVB fans attack me with trying to get to meet the guys.
"I'm Jinxx's... Younger... Sister."
Their eyes seemed to go wide and they looked back and forth between both of us.
"I can see the resemblance now," Rachel whispered, smiling proudly.
I smiled slightly and nodded.
"Anyways, our mothers are probably getting mad at us, so we gotta go. It was AWESOME meeting you! Tell the rest of the guys we absolutely love them!" Claire said, grabbing her friends and running off.
"So, shall we go to the movie now?"
Jinxx nodded, and right when we were walking into the movie, I heard C.C.
"You're gonna watch this too?! We can sit together!"
Jinxx looked at me, and pleaded not to do anything. I just stuck my tongue out at him, and watched as the rest of BVB walked over to us. C.C. smiled and hooked arms with me. Jinxx hooked arms with my other side, and made sure to give me another look before we sat down.
I was in between C.C. and Jinxx, Andy being in front of me, and Ashley beside him. Jake was on the other side of Andy. C.C. tilted his soda towards me, offering me some. I smiled, and when I reached my hand to take it, Jinxx shoved his in my hand.
I looked over at Jinxx, eyes wide with anger, he smiled a little and whispered, "Just take mine."
Shaking my head, I grabbed C.C.'s Taking a drink, I never took my eyes off Jinxx. I wanted him to know it was just a drink. Nothing more. No need to get all over protective and shit like that. He set his drink down, and looked towards the movie.
I handed C.C. his drink back, and he had his eyebrows raised. I smiled slightly, and just turned back to the movie. God, I just made this ten times more awkward.
When it was over, I thought I had already died. It was so long, and so awkward.
"Wanna go into the arcade?" C.C. asked us, smiling.
Of course, Ashley was already inside the arcade, and Jake was off talking on the phone. Jinxx said he'd be right back, and went into the restroom. I just waited outside while C.C. ran into the arcade.
God, tonight was so slow. Jake walked up to me, and leaned against the wall.
"Wanna do something fun?"
He looked back into the theatre, and grabbed my hand. He started running, dragging me behind me. I had no idea where we were going, and didn't really care. I was just happy we were most likely doing something fun.
"When Jinxx asks where we went, don't tell him we went here.. Okay?"
We turned a corner, and there it was.
