        Just breathe. Said no one.

The lights bleamed through the dark restless night. Sounds from all over rang through my ears. The sound of crunching leaves were mostly heard. Everything, just seemed so peaceful. At age eighteen, my decision was to be more independent. Go out and see the world. Most of my time is spent in my apartment. No family here. No friends here. I was considered to be an outsider to humanity, or were they the outsiders.

My eyes wondered in search of my apartment. You can only see so little in darkness. Residents of the community past by me. Not a single person took a second glimspe of me. They were all in a hurry, I suppose.

Apartment 3B

I made my way inside my apartment. Not a single sound could be heard. My left hand ran through the wall in search of the light switch. Click. Nothing special about my shelter. Modern day things to antiquated items. Hopefully a good night's rest will change my perspective on things. The bedroom was only a short walking distance from the ingress. Which I found admirable at a time like this. Cozy blankets engulfed my well being. Droopy eyelinds descended until they were fully shut. Imagination of my mind went all over the place. Slumber.

My eyes opened only to see the unthinkable. A man dressed in all black a few feet away from me. His hands went through my desk in search of my personal information. My body shifted in the bed resulting to a noise that only he and I could hear. His head snapped in my direction. Glowing green eyes was all I captured. He walked towards me. Inspecting me as if I was some sort of creature. The breathing in my body became irregular.

"You weren't suppose to see that," The thickness of his voice rang through my ears. No words came out of my mouth due to the amount of shock. "Now things have to be done differently." His body towered mine while I laid in bed. I was a deer caught in headlights. "Get up." He commanded. Still I couldn't move. "What did I say!?" His arm pulled off the bed covers and gripped mine pulling me upward.

"Who are you?" My voice was so weak full of fear. The beating of my heart could most likely be heard by him.

"Let's keep that a secret for now." He let go of the grip he had on my arm. If only I didn't wake up. "Get dressed." The man walked to my closet pulling out a pair of jeans and a tee shirt.

"What are you going to do with me?" I asked while putting on my clothes and slipping my shoes on.

"You'll find out." With that we walked out of my apartment and to his car. While walking he had his arm tight around mine making sure I don't elude. He opened the passenger door for me waiting for me to step in. "Don't make this harder on yourself."

Once in the car no words were said. The faint sound of music was disguised in the background. The sound of tires running through puddles was heard. My kidnapper sat in the driver seat. Still in all black. His eyes locked onto the road as he chewed on his bottom lip. After a while, his car pulled into a hovel place. It seemed to be located outside of town.

"Don't touch anything." He got out of vehicle in one swift moment. The lumious stars reflected on the lake as I looked out of the car window. The man opened the door in a hurry dragging me along.
