======================

"UGH" Alexandra groaned as her alarm blasted off, she hit the snooze button and rolled over in her bed to resume her sleep, that was until a heavy weight landed right on top of her "Bouncer" she whined and tried to ignore her dog as he licked her face "Okay, okay I'm up" she said as the dog got off her and watched her as she sat up "Your worse than the alarm" Bouncer just huffed and placed his face on the edge of the bed, watching her.

Alexandra got off the bed and stretched, shivering from the coldness of the air even though her room was warm, her sheets were still warmer and she wanted to slide in the so much but she had school, lovely. She walked to the bathroom and turned the water on, prepared her clothes while she waited for it to heat up and then got in. The hot water always seemed to have a magic touch on Alexandra, it could always relax her muscles and clear her mind no matter what the problems were.

Bouncers barks got her back to reality and she realized she was spending too much time in the shower, she washed her red hair and then her body as fast as possible and got out, drying her hair and putting on her clothes.

"What do you think?" She said doing a small twirl for bouncer, He barked happily and she laughed and nodded "Thanks, Bounce." she knelt and he became shorter tan him and hugged him "Wish me luck today"

The ride to school was filled with thoughts of seeing the twins again after the winter break, she missed talking to Jeremy in the morning but she accepted the fact that he hated her now. At the start of senior year, merely a week after the fight, it had been weird not sending the day at school with him but now it was almost as if hey never did spend the day together, like it was all a dream that wouldn't happen.

When she got to the school Alexandra got out of the small Kia her father had bought her before he had went to jail and walked across the parking lot, happy that the students had finally gotten over that she and Jeremy no longer hung out and started ignoring her instead of staring and whispering. At first rumors flew that Alexandra slept with Max and Jeremy got mad so they stopped being friends, other rumors said she slept with them both and they wanted her to choose but she didn't want to, Alexandra rolled her eyes at the stupidity of some people.

Alexandra stopped at the familiar voice she'd know anywhere, it was Jeremy. Usually she'd be hurrying to leave so she wouldn't have to see him and watch hm ignore her, but his voice showed that he was mad and curiosity got the better of her. She pressed her ear against the door of the empty classroom and recognised the voice of Jeremy's girlfriend with him, Tamara.

"Why do you insist on not telling me, Jeremy? What happened? You told me not to believe the rumors and give you time but its the day after winter break for god's sake. What happened between you guys?"

Alexandra heard Jeremy sigh and knew he'd be rubbing the back of his neck at the moment. Were they talking about her?

"Tamara, I...I really don't want to go into this right now...just please"

"What are you hiding from me? Don't you trust me enough to tell me? I've been waiting for you to tell me and I've been patient but I deserve to know why you stopped talking to your best friend."

Alexandra felt guilty, Jeremy didn't want to tell Tamara what happened because he was too nice to and didn't want Tamara to think differently of her. She heard Tamara say she couldn't handle secrets and immediately stepped away from the door and hid behind the nearest trash can as she heard the door slam open and heavy footsteps walk away.
