Got What It Takes To Be Ninja?!

OK people, you think you got what it takes to be a Wattpad Ambassador Ninja!? Well in all honesty you probably do :)

Here's what the lovely Eva Lau (part of WP HQ) said in relation to Ninja criteria:

"Just so that you know: ALL ambassadors must be at least 16 years of age, have an account with us for at least 3 months and also have a Facebook account. Most importantly, shows the true Wattpad spirit - treat others with respect and courtesy and loves to help maintain a friendly environment in Wattpad for everyone to enjoy."

IMPORTANT:

EVA WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING REQUESTS PERSONALLY 

TO APPLY GO TO:

support.Wattpad.com - you can get there by clicking the black Help tab to your right. Then click on "Submit a Request" 

Private Messages, or other messages on her profiles will not be counted beginning today--August 19th 2011--However she will still process those posted prior to today, but everyone must go through the system now. 

SO to break it down:

- Must be 16 years and older.

- Must have WP account older than 3 months.

- Must have FB account.

- Must show the true Wattpad spirit - no one says it better than Ms. Eva does up there ^^^

-Subject to a 1-2 month probational period.

And you'll know when, because you'll have that little orange band around the corner of your profile... COS WE COOL LIKE THAT :D

But We will warn you. Being Ninja is no joke. We really mean the We part. We rely on one another and we hold each other up when we stumble. This is a Team effort. As a Ninja you MUST take your responsibilities seriously. Otherwise You will be letting Us down. You will be letting Wattpad down. 

Being an Ambassador Ninja seems to be a very cool thing on Wattpad and many people would like to join Us. However, you HAVE to understand the responsibility (having good conduct and so on) and workload (constant greeting and category moderating etc.) involved. We've had members who join, see what its like and then realise its too much for them and leave. Its a demanding job but We need those that can handle the heat in the kitchen... We need You to be one of Us.

Cos of this, all new ninjas will be subjected to a 1 month probational period. Within that 1 month, We do expect You to be an Ambassador and live up to the title. For whatever reason if You cannot pull in the effort within that month, the probational period will be extended for at most 1 more month. No one can accuse Us of being harsh :)

We hope that all new Ambassador Ninja's ribbons will be on within 2 months. If they do not pass this probabtional period, then sadly they will be removed from the team. But hey, even after one/two months probabtion is up the battle still goes on! So you'll have to keep your efforts up and stick to your duties! For Wattpad!

If You Ninja... Then Be Ninja.

Here's some of the work that we do, in case your interested:
 

Category work - Go through a chosen category and make sure all is OK with the stories in that category. Make sure that none are miscategorised; make sure there there no copyright infringements in your category; make sure there is no overly obscene or pornographic material in any story within your chosen category etc. As a category-work ambassador you have the responsibility of going through TEN PAGES of STORIES in your chosen category per WEEK.

Greeting work - Greet new Wattpadders and welcome them into the wonderful world of Wattpad. Also let them know that if they need any help in getting started, We as WPA Ninjas will be there to help them with any queries. Also look out for spam profiles and fake profiles. You'll know them when you see them. As a greeter-ambassador you have the responsibility of greeting TEN NEW WATTPADDERS each DAY. It really doesn't take that long, about 10-15 minutes.

Fun Planner - Work along side with the Club/Forum Moderator. Start 2-3 "fun discussions" in the clubs you signed up for. Get the community excited and have fun in the clubs. Watch out for offensive behaviors and report to Clubs/Mods for their attention.

Translation work - If you have a good level of fluency in a language then you can ask to help with translations of Wattpad.
