Chapter 13

I woke up hours later to Kryzstofer wearing only pants. My head buzzed from night's adventures to the Now. Weirdly I didn't remember anything that said. All of my memories were without audios. Hixak must have had Hadrian erased my side or something like that.

“Kill me now!” I joked.

“What's wrong?” He came to my side immediately feeling my forehead. “Are you ill?”

“You know, sometimes I can tell you are old.”

“What?” He asked.

“Nothing.” I sat up. “I'm still half asleep.”

“I made breakfast.” He said sitting down on the bed.

“Kryz,” I looked away before I could get tempted. “put a shirt on.”

“Why? Don't I look good?” He joked.

“You look like a God. Which is why I am asking you to put some clothes one.”

“I don't understand...”

“Of course not.” I sighed. “Just put a shirt on.” A tight on preferably, I thought.

“Who is Alec?” He held my mobile in his hands.

“Um, what?” I said stretching and rubbing my eyes. “Alec?”

“Yes, Alec.”

“A friend.” I replied flustered. “He is actually Janice's brother.”

“Why does he call you 'babe'?” He flipped through my messages.

“He's my best friend.”

“I thought I was...” He let it linger. “Aren't I?”

“You can't be my everything, Kryzstofer.”

“How long?” He asked silently.

“Sophomore year of college.”

“that's almost as much as we..” He looked down at the floor.

“What are you talking about?” Decades cannot compare to months.”

“What does he look like?” He turned towards me and tilted his head. “I can't get a reading from you.”

“Maybe because when I am with you, you are all I can think about.” I said happily.. “He doesn't matter.”

I flipped trough my phone and found a text form Janice.

This was working out by itself. I'd completely forgotten about my assignment.

"Janice is coming over later." I said walking to the kitchen. The table was full of food that I knew had not come from my fridge. "Wow."

"You like?" he asked coming behind me.

"Almost as much as chocolate." I replied.

"I don’t-"

"You don't have to." I interrupted.

"I'm glad you like it." He pulled my chair for me.

I sat down slowly, eyeing the food in front of me. Bagels, bacon, eggs, waffles, coffee and fruits were on the table. Almost like a banquet or a buffet for two people. I reached over to take a bagel with cream cheese. When I bit into it, it was delicious. No, something way better than that. Almost heavenly. I looked at Kryzstofer wide-eyed. His amused smile said nothing.

"This is organismic delicious." I said between bites.

"Thank you." he smiled. "I don't like him."
