Katrina

I don't remember much anything. The last thing I can remember is the sound of rushing waves and the surge of power rushing through me. I woke up in the woods at dawn with a crowd gathered around me. They were whispering and pointing, keeping their distance. Two boys and girl around 17 walked up to me while a centaur tried to keep them back. “Thalia, Nico, Percy keep your distance we don't know who she is”, the centaur said. After they got past him a blond haired girl pushed through the crowd wearing full greek battle armor. “There is no way.”, she said. The girl knelt beside me. “Percy i know this sounds crazy but can i see riptide?” Percy handed her a pen. I was wondering why the pen had a name. It was an ordinary pen, or so i thought. The girl uncapped the pen and it sprung into a 3 foot bronze sword. I screamed and jumped to my feet and grabbed my locket as it turned into a sword made of water. It all came back to me at once, I was Katrina Jackson, daughter of the sea. Every camper stared at me in a mix of horror and surprise and Percy almost fainted. Who are you people and where am I, I screamed. The centaur came over to me. “The better question is who are you my girl?”. I spoke loud enough so everyone could hear, “ I am Katrina Octavia Jackson, Daughter of Poseidon, Princess of the sea. I am on mission to find Camp Half- Blood and the one called Perseus Jackson, My brother and make a new life here.” The camp went silent and everyone knelt. “Percy”, The centaur said, “This is your sister Katrina Octavia Jackson, she is a hero to the sea culture and was to be hidden from the world. she is your true blood twin sister.” I looked at the boy stunned, our only difference was my hair and eyes. I was so stunned i almost dropped my sword. I looked at the girl holding percys sword, “ Would you please lower the sword?” She handed the sword to percy and it transformed back to a pen. I tapped my sword and it compacted back to my locket. Percy looked at the centaur, “My sister is princess of the sea?” “Percy,” I said, “I am not princess till i have my crown, if I was in the form of a princess you would know me, you have met me before.” Percy looked as if he was trying to remember me, “I think i would have recognized you.” I grabbed my locket and it transformed into a crown. I placed the crown on my head and water swirled up from the ground forming a wall of deep blue water around me. When the water disappeared I was left standing there in a light blue dress with my hair in a mess of curls topped with a crown of shells. A sword was strapped to the side of my dress. Percy stared at me wide eyed. “Your that girl from the royal court that was at my fathers side, you also sent those hippocampi to help me Annabeth and Tyson.” Yes, i said, that was me. I am not to fond of Amphitrite, so i left I was tired of putting up with her, our father sent me here to find you so I could live here.\

   Over the next few days I got settled into cabin three and percy showed me around camp. I made a few close friends, Annabeth, Piper, Jason, and Nico. Nico is the son of Hades, he has dark ash hair and is 15 like me. He has a nice smile when he does smile. Alot of people don't like him but i think he is pretty cool. Annabeth is the girl who scared me on my arrival with Percys sword. She is daughter of Athena. Jason is son of Zeus and is like a blond superman. Piper is the only daughter of Aphrodite that is not obsessed with girly things. Later, I gave some lessons on sword fighting and archery and was fitted for battle armor. Later that night we had a game of capture the flag. The teams were Poseidon, Zeus, Hades,and Athena against Ares, Aphrodite, Demeter, Apollo, and Hermes.

You might think that the children of the big 3 on one team might be dangerous, well your right but we only have 2 people from each cabin so that is six people plus the 10 at the athena cabin. Our team had a lot less people but the amount of power evened us out. As we started the game my armor felt heavy, I was used to my enchanted armor but i left my magic bracelet in the castle and i was not going back there for that. I have to admit that it was odd fighting along side my brother. I didn't feel over powerful or different, I felt normal and in the right place. I didn't feel like i was expected to do better than everyone else.  Apollo campers shot arrows, Ares campers threw javelins. As i was running threw the woods when i felt a sharp pain in by back. My vision went blurry then i heard Nico scream for help.

Katrina

I woke up in the infirmary.   Will, Nico, Percy,and Annabeth were standing beside me. My head throbbed and the small of my back burned. I thought I could stand but I was wrong. As soon as i stood up Nico caught me. For the first time ever I noticed how his dark eyes sparkled. I sat back down on my bed and my friends explained what happened to me. I was stabbed in the small of my back with a poisoned  knife, by who we do not know but there are suspicions. I was shocked, I haven't been here that long and people already hated me. Nico had sensed my almost death and went to find me. I sipped some nectar and my pain slowly went away.  When I finally had my strength Nico walked me to my cabin, worry still filled his eyes. Nico I said, Im fine really. No he said, someone here wants to hurt you and hurt you bad and i don't want anyone to hurt you. Nico was blushing like crazy.  Just when was about to say something an arrow flew toward me, I caught it in mid air. Nico stood amazed,  “h-how did you do that?”  Nico I said, I am a princess i need to have skill. That is not the first time i have been shot at. Iv fought in many wars like Percy. I was trained to kill. I am not an enemy that you want to have.
