I really find the terzanelle a unique form to work within. I have found, and particularly with this piece, that working within the form's confines really helped to tighten up the piece from it's original draft. Thanks for reading. Please comment and let me know what you think.
Making Love in Terzanelle
A small sip of light silhouettes their love
The sun rises, to mingle, amidst their motions
Framing the face of the one now above
Glistening, as if covered in lotions
They mouth their 'O's in audible flow
The sun rises, to mingle, amidst their motions
Waves of pleasure sound, then fading largo
An ebb now, in their intertwined undulation
They mouth their 'O's in audible flow
With rose coloured faces, seen in adoration
They know wholly, every part, every moan
An ebb now, in their intertwined undulation
Lost and forgotten, in a world of their own
The sun sets upon the ocean, lingering for more
They know wholly, every part, every moan
They rise and roll, tides crashing on the shore
A small sip of light silhouettes their love
The sun sets upon the ocean, lingering for more
Framing the face of the one now above
