Were Not In Kansas Anymore Chapter 1

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

i walk at a fast pace along the hard concrete floor of the subway station, hoping to catch the last train to Manhattan. Just as the train doors are closing i shove my hand in the middle and hop on in wonder.

I had never been to the subway before due to my mother always advising me to take the limo. Now things have changed. I had spent 1 year in boarding school in Kansas due to my ''reckless behavior'', but i mean seriously i have changed. believe me when i say this. before when i was a delinquent i had blonde,  brown streaks, nose ring, belly ring (still have that) and i wore LOTS of make up. Now, since the moron teachers at boarding school made me, i have lost the brown streaks, no nose ring, still got the belly ring and my make up was reduced to a minimum. And yeah i got pretty good curves up there and around my thighs.

When i went in boarding school i had to chnge my name. The reason? because back in Manhattan where i lived i was...lets just say pretty well known for my recklesness. My mom couldnt stand to have a daughter less than perfect, and if they people at boarding school knew about my behavior. Well that would just put my mother to shame. Yeah my moms a tad selfish.

So where am i now you ask?

On my way home from back from that hell hole and back to my life in new york, the city that never sleeps... well so I'm told.

I almost forgot where i was when i heard the siren for last call to Manhattan. Yanking my Gucci bag off the filthy seat next to me i made my way out of the train station and waited. Apparently my mom was supposed to send some private car to pick me up. Some mom. I sigh and fumble with my nails and wait for the car to arrive. About a minute later i hear wheels on the road heading in my direction. I glance up and see a black Volvo stopping in front of me, ugh god a Volvo seriously mom? The driver comes around the car ''Welcome back Jenevieve'' i smile and nod .He opens the car door for me,I step in and immediately lay my head against the seat and close my eyes.

I wake due to a really annoying streak of light coming through the set of grey curtains. I groan and roll over on my stomach covering my body with the pale gold comforter. Wait a second... I don't remember falling asleep on a bed... I shot up arms on either side of my body as i blink in the sudden light. Oh i must have fallen asleep on my way back to my mums house. Plonking back down on my bed i look around my forgotten room. It looked exactly the same as i left it. Pale gold bed set, dark grey patterned curtains, that familiar smell of vanilla and lavender. Aha its good to be home.

I suddenly remember my walk in wardrobe. I walked over to my wardrobe excitedly and opened up the double doors, gaping in amazement as i stared t my clothes. There were so many dresses, most of them short, and they were all designer. I missed my clothes so much because back in boarding school we had to wear boring grey skirts up to our KNEES (Though somehow i always managed to roll my skirt up without teachers noticing) and boring button up white shirts. I hated it there, though i did make awesome friends and we always had parties and snuck alcohol in our dorms. Yeah those were the good days. Still I'd rather this life.

I roll out of bed and skip down the marble tiled staircase eager to see my mum (Juliet) and my younger brother (Trevor). i ran my hand down the glossy wooden rail and looked around our apartment. It was really big and expensive with vases of hydrangea flowers and rare ornaments. Once i made it into the kitchen which was just as big as our living room i spotted Trevor sitting as a table with my mom. I squealed and ran over them, surprising them bye squealing.

''Hey guys!!'', i said to them. They looked taken by surprise to say the least.

''Genevieve (most people call me Jena), how nice to see you dear. We didn't want to wake you'', she said gesturing to the food, which by the way was waffles, macaroons, fruit and salads. I couldn't tell if they made it or the maids. Usually we made it.

Trevor swivelled around in his seat and laughed, ''hey sis, how was boarding school?''
