"Wait, what the-Mitch?!" Chris exclaimed.

"Whatever you do, please don't pass out. It took me and Annie more than 10 just to get his ass on the couch," I groaned, pointing to Alex.

Alex gave me an offended look.

"Chris, please, calm down. Look, the reason Mitch is able to be seen is because he can't be at rest. What happened to him wasn't an accident," Annabeth said.

"What?" Chris asked, confused.

"Mitch was murdered, man. Someone rigged the brakes on the bike to make him crash," Alex said.

"Are you serious?" Chris asked in disbelief.

"The brake wire was cut, I saw it. This is basically Mitch's ghost right now, and he has to find the ones who killed him before they get Jolie or Kena," Annie said.

"Or any of us in that matter," Alex added.

"So what you're saying is, Mitch has to go at it like Ghost or The Crow because we're on some hit list?" he asked.

"Pretty much," I said.

"Oh shit," he said, blown away. "What do we do?"

"We find out who did this before the funeral," I said.

"Which one's?" Chris asked. "Because I don't want to know then have to be invisibly attending my own next to you."

I then hear a car park out front.

"Shit! Its Jolie and Kena!" Alex exclaimed.

"Mitch go upstairs and hide!" Annie said.

I ran up the stairs and then hear the door opened.

"Oh my god!!" Jolie said in shock.

"Mommy, what happened?" Kena's voice asked.

"Someone... snuck in and made a mess," Alex lied.

Well... Its not a COMPLETE lie.

"Oh," she said.

"Here, we packed your things," Annie said.

"I'm still going to be present for the vigil on Saturday," she said.

"We're all going to be present," Chris said.

It was quiet before Alex spoke.

"We miss him, too, Jo," he said.

I hear a small sniffle. "Yeah, its just going to be hard moving on."

It was quiet before I hear shuffling.

"Its getting late, we should get going," Jolie said.

I hear them say goodbyes before its quiet and the car leaves.

I then walked out.

"Dude," Chris said.

"I know," I said. "Let's just get moving."

I went with Annie as we all left, Chris taking Parker and Sawyer with him.
