Casey's POV

My eyes were wide and my mind was in a daze as Eva and I stumbled out of the venue, late in the night, in awe of what we had seen. The Pierce The Veil concert had been one of the best we've been in and I felt like I was in a dream, in awe of their amazing talents and the music just brings you to another place.

"Wow." Eva breathed out, her voice cutting through the trance we were in as we both looked at each other. "That was amazing."

"Heck yeah that was!" I exclaimed happily, grinning in complete happiness. The night had been perfect, experiencing this concert with my best friend. Pierce The Veil didn't get all the credit for the amazing night, though. Sleeping With Sirens was just as amazing as well.

"If I could relive this night, I would."

"Yeah." It took us a few more moments, leaning against the wall of the venue, to realized that we needed to call Eva's boyfriend to pick us up. I shuddered under the night's cold breeze and pulled my wool coat tighter around me, glancing around. I was afraid if we stayed out here for too long we would be raped or freeze to death. Either way, I wanted to go home and climb into my warm, comfortable bed.

I turned to Eva, who was furiously typing away at her phone. "Eva, is Zeke on his way or what?"

"Who is this?" Eva demanded angerily suddenly. The phone was held to her ear, her eyes wild and her teeth were grounding together. She was beyong pissed off and I was scared to speak again.

"You can explain? Explain what? Why a girl answered your phone claiming to be your girlfriend?!" I flinched at Eva's tone and knew exactly what was going on. Zeke had always been a player back in high school but we thought he changed his ways once he met Eva. Obviously not.

I checked the time on my phone and gasped. 10:52pm. I had work tomorrow morning and if I wanted to be up early, I needed to get home now.

I hesitated on speaking before deciding that I needed to find us another way home. Eva was not going to let Zeke do it.

"Eva?" The girl ignored my lame attempt at calling her while she continued to curse in spanish and english at unfaithful douchebag. I closed my eyes to tame my annoyance and tried to understand the situation.

"Eva," I said a little louder, determined to have her hear me. "Do you want me to call a cab?"

She ignored me once more, now pacing back and forth, up and down the sidewalk. It was making anxious and annoying me even more. I decided to try one more time, irritation and impatience settling in. I hated drama and I certainly didn't want to deal with it on what was supposed to be the best night of my life.

"Eva!" She finally turned to me. Her eyes were red and tears stained her cheeks but her expression was pissed. It softened a bit when she saw me, though.

"I'm so sorry, Casey," Eva started to say before her eyes turned hard again as Zeke continued saying something to upset her once again. "I don't have money with me right now, Casey. Hold on one second while I yell at this boy some more." Then she turned away and began walking away, crossing the alley way nearby as she continued to walk.

I hated when she was this pissed. She had to walk off her angry before she did anything to harm anyone or her phone. She probably assumed I would walk home with her while she cursed out Zeke on the phone.

But it was too cold and late at night to be walking in this area of town to our area of town. She must have forgotten that. Now I have to remind her.

"Eva, wait!" I yelled, running after the spanish senorita that was my best friend. I didn't hear or notice the huge bus, though, trying to drive out of the alley.

"Ah!" I screamed as I finally saw it coming towards me and the driver slammed on the brakes, jerking the bus to halt right in front of me. My eyes were wide and I couldn't breathe correctly as my heart raced in my chest.

That was a close call.

"Hey!" I heard a male voice yell as four people jumped out of the bus and the driver struggled to get out to see if I was okay or not.

"Casey!" I turned my head to see Eva coming back, her phone now tucked away in her pocket as her eyes were wide and staring at me with concern and guilt written on her face. She knew I hated walking late at night and yet she was almost had me do that. She was guilty for making me go after her like that but I wasn't going to blame her. I should looked for any cars. Cars do go through alleys.

Buses are rare though.

"Hey, are you alright?" The male voice brought my gaze to my left to see the one person that shocked me to see.

His chocolate brown eyes that looked so much vibrant in pictures looked dark in the dead of night but his chestnut brown hair could still be seen under the headlights of the tour bus he had just been on. His eyes held so much worry and care in them that it took me a moment to regain my ability to speak.

"Oh, uh, yeah I'm fine. I'm really sorry for going in front of your tour bus like that. I was trying to go after my friend... If you don't mind me asking, why were you driving through an alley? Well, techincally it's not really an alley but still-"

Vic chuckled, interrupting my rant. "We went out the side entrance instead of the back to avoid fans and get to the next city in time. We would have stayed longer to see the fans but we're kind of running late."

I nodded and stood there awkwardly, not sure what else to say to my favorite singer. I wasn't even sure how I was supposed to react to seeing him like this and it didn't help that his brown eyes was studying me, his eyes going down and then up back to meet my gaze. He smiled.

"So, uh, I guess I should get going then since you're okay." Vic said, shoving his hands in his pockets to hide them from the cold. I blinked but then laughed nervously suddenly, realizing I probably shouldn't have been standing there still. They have better things to be doing than watching me freak out on the inside.

"Yeah, sorry about all this." I said, slowly backing away. Vic shook his head and held up a hand in dismissal.

"No need to apologize. Hope you enjoyed the concert!" He grinned as he spoke and I realized he saw the merchandise I was wearing on my wrist. I blushed and waved.

"It was amazing! Keep it up boys! Bye!" I exclaimed before turning away from them. Before I could get to Eva, though, Vic rushed over to me and grabbed me by the wrist.

I turned and met his nervous yet determined brown eyes as they met mine, making me nervous of what he was going to say. He took a deep breath and...

"Can I have your number? I know it seems a bit random but I feel as if I might regret it if I don't get your number." He said, flashing me an innocent grin. I smiled and thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"I guess." I said, shrugging before putting my number into his phone. Vic grinned and I just winked before walking off with Eva by my side, demanding to know what happened and if I was okay. She also kept saying how sorry she was but I could care less.

I was still freaking out on the inside at what had just happened.

What a night.
