From Luna to Earth

Chapter One

It all happened so fast. I sat there and watched my dreams shatter. Have you ever felt so alone you didn't know what to do? Have you ever felt like giving up on everything? Well, it isn't that simple for me. I had one last flame to look forward to. One last hope...

A conspiracy would begin to unfold right in front of me. I used to love my planet and my job. I worked as a soilder for the elite team, to protect my people. I had a wife and two kids. Her name was Belle. I could remember her smile anywhere. I loved her so. My son was five years old then. He was a bright young man, always looked up to me. I loved him so. He was the light of my life. I loved being a father. His name was Ralph. My daughter was still a babe. Only two months old. I loved her too. A smile just like her mothers. Her name was Gale I would eat breakfast with them then leave for work. That's when it all began. My life, a nightmare.

I was at work making myself and my team ready for patrol. My best friend, Ted, was always by my side. We would joke around and have many good laughs. We walked the sandy grounds as a fight broke out betwen our soliders. "You can't do this! It isn't right!"

"We are the law here and we do what we please. And this is what we please!"

"What's going on here?" I asked.

"They want to kill our leader. For power. We can't have this. We have to stop them!" Just like that they beheaded him. Immortals can't survive that. I stared at them with confusion. Ted and I had no idea what was to happen at the time, but I kept quite for the moment.

Days would pass and I'd grow more and more uneasy. I explained to my wife everything that was going on. How they wanted to kill him, how they were setting people up who betrayed them. I didn't know what to do. I feared my time was coming. I had to take my wife and kids and flee somewhere knew. I had to get off this planet, for it wasn't what I was used to. I had to think fast. 

That morning I went off to work as I always do. I felt sick, something wasn't right. I pressed on and noticed Ted wasn't at work. Maybe they've got him too. Grief filled my soul as soilders approached me. "Miethos, you are charged woth treason."

"What? No!" 

"Yes." I pushed through them and ran. I tried to get home as fast as I could. Upon getting there I saw my world had died.

Blood smeared everywhere. The walls, the floor, the couch, everywhere. I walked around in horror as my wife and son lay lifeless on the floor. Monsters they were, how dare you kill a child? I let out a screaming rage and ran to Ted's home. He too was attacked. I then made my way to the shuttle that would change my life. As I jumped inside I saw a note from Ted. The note said, "I sent your daughter to a planet called Earth. I wish I could've saved your son." I began to cry, The note had blood on it. I then knew what I must do. I must travel to Eartth and find my baby girl. I must save her from the creatures there.

"I'm coming Gale."
