****Kayla/Faith's POV*****
My heart stopped when I saw him. All the hurt and memories from the past came flooding back to me and hit me hard. So many questions came to my head as I stared shocked at the family in front of me. I realized the room was silent so I quickly grabbed my composure and spoke.
"Tyler, it is nice to see you." I said trying to break the ice.
I felt James wrap his arm around my waste in a protective manner, or maybe he was making sure Tyler still knew I was his. "How have you been? Nice family you have here." James spoke
Tyler looked at me and smiled a little. He was looking me in the eye and it kind of made me nervous. "It's nice to see you too Kayla." He said he then stopped looking at me and turned his attention to James. "I have been good James and thank you very much they mean the world to me."
James nodded and smiled a little at him
"Well come in an make yourself at home. Dinner will be served momentarily." I smiled politely and motioned for them to go sit in the living room.
"Kayla can I have a word with you in the kitchen please." James asked but sounded more like a demand.
I walked into the kitchen with James hot on my tail.
"What the hell is he doing here!!" He quietly yelled
"I don't know! How was I supposed to know that Jake's dad was Tyler?" I quietly yelled back.
"I don't know maybe because they look exactly alike!" I could tell this was really making Him mad but I didn't understand why we have been married for a long time Tyler is of no threat to him.
"Not that I knew about any of this but why is this such a big deal to you!" I questioned
"It's not I would just like to know when unwanted visitors are coming to my home." With that he stomped off back into the living room
I sighed and ran my hand down my face.
I returned into the room with a fake smile on my face. Everyone could tell that there was a lot of tension in the room.
"Sooo... Jake would you like a tour of the house?" Katie asked "Kilie and I will give you one."
"Anything to get me out of the tension filled room." He replied
Part of me wanted to stop them so World War III didn't happen in my living room but I just let them go.
After they walked out we all awkwardly stared at each other til Christina spoke up " So um Tyler how do you too know each other?"
"Oh uh we went to high school together." He replied leaving out a few details like that fact that I was practically in love with him.
"Oh surly there is more to it then that. This wouldn't be so awkward if there wasn't." She put on a fake smile that really made me hate her.
" nope nothing more I barley even remember them." He lied
"Yeah because you wouldn't remember if a international model was going to your school. No big deal." I said rolling my eyes. James elbowed me in the side a little
"Oh well I remember that but you know that's not important." He explained
I rolled my eyes and sat back against the couch.
"So um how did you two meet?" James asked
"Oh it's amazing story actually!" Christina started to talk and I completely tuned her out. I didn't want to hear her story.
As soon as she finished her story the kids came back in the room and let us know that dinner was ready. We all walked to the dinning room and sat down. Our meal was served. We all started eating and I was secretly counting down til this dinner was over.
*****Katie POV******
~~later that night~~
"So Jake is pretty cute. Do you like him?" I asked Kilie while we were siting on our couch eating a late night snack.
"He is really cute but I wouldn't say I like him." She said blushing a little bit
Kilie couldn't hide anything she always blushed when she lied.
"Your blushing kiles..." I told her
"Crap!" She quickly put her hands over her face.
I laughed at her. Just as I stopped laughing I herd Kilie's phone ring beside me. I looked down at the caller ID and quickly snatched the phone when I saw whose name it was. 'Jake'
"Hellloo?" I answered it
"Um hi is this Kilie cause it kinda sounds like Katie..." He replied
I made my voice go a little higher "hehehe yes this is Kilie, I get that a lot." Kilie was sitting beside me giving me death glares. I stuck my tongue out at her
"Oh haha well I just wanted to thank you for dinner and um I was wondering if maybe you would want to go do something tomorrow?" He asked
I looked at Kilie and she stared to blush "I would love too!" I answered before she could tell me know
"Great I'll pick you up in the morning! Goodnight Kilie." He said excited
"Good night Jake!" I hung up the phone and handed it back to Kilie and laughed at her
"You are the worst sister ever you know that!" She said trying to be mad at me
"Oh you love me! Shush." I laughed " I'm going to bed Night Kiles."
"Night" she said
