The Special Ones

Chapter 2

The three men were all Asian, tall, and CARRYING GUNS! They all noticed that there was no one in here so they began speaking in a different language. But something seemed weird about their conversation because I don’t understand this language but it’s like, I know every word of what they’re saying. This is what I hear

Man 1: Where the hell are all of those brats that the boss was talking about?

Man 3: I swear I heard them only a few minutes ago.

Man 1: Maybe they heard us and ran off?

Man 2: We have to find them or the boss is going to chop our balls and hang them up!

Man 3: Well go out and find them! I will stay behind and see if I can find anyone else.

Man 1 and 2: Right!

Then I heard them both go to the hidden door in the back to go and search for anyone else that might not have gotten too far. Now there was only one left!

He had two other ways to turn but obviously he chose to come this way. The first one he was going to see was the pink hair girl; I was so scared for her because he had every idea of killing anyone that he saw. But just as he is about to turn to see her, she disappears.

Ok now my mind is completely blown because I think I just got to witness someone go invisible, I didn’t think that was physically possible. Then he turns and before he has the opportunity to see me, I duck back behind the table.

But I could hear his footsteps as he walking more and more towards my table. As he walked more and more towards my table, it was like he was causing a different earthquake in each parts of my stomach.

Then something mysterious happened, it was like my mind was screaming ‘Get his sorry ass.’ Then I jumped up on my two feet and grabbed him by the neck. Then I jumped completely off the ground and did some funky crazy karate move and spun his neck in a complete 360 motion right off of his neck.

When I finally re-landed on my feet, I was holding the man’s head and saw as his body fell on the floor. I was just about to scream when the mixed boy came up and covered my mouth. Then we all froze to hear someone on the opposite side of the wall say something in an odd language that I think only I knew.

Then I spoke it in our native tongue and said “Come on. I think they need our help.” Then the pink haired girl grabbed both my and the other boys hands and we all went off into a complete sprint toward the exit. But just as we are walking out the door, I could see them walking through the opposite door.

Then I told them as we entered the creepy alley over on the side of the Chinese restaurant. “I think they’re going to come after us. We need to disappear and soon.”

“Good idea” they both said simultaneously.

We all entered the main sidewalk and I could hear their massive footsteps as they were continuing to chase after us. Then we heard gun shots and everyone on the sidewalk except for us were on the ground. We were jumping over and going around people, trying not to trip and suffer death.

“Grab my hand!” I looked over to see the girl holding her hand out at me and the other boy. The other boy grabbed her hand and they were staring to vanish. But before they went completely invisible, I grabbed her hand too and then I looked down and I started to go invisible too.

We continued to run even though we were all invisible. I heard one of the men back there said something and his translation was “They vanished! Don’t stop running or we will lose them!”

Then when I was so focused on not tripping over any people that were still cowering in fear from another gun shot, I felt my arm being jerked backward and taking my whole body with it. She was pulling both of us into some random alley between an apartment complex and some weird renter’s office.

We were still invisible until we were sure that the guys had passed us and continued to search for us. Once we could all see each other again then the girl was the first one to speak. “Okay. I think they’re gone, follow me.” We did as she had told us because I think at this point we had nowhere else to go.

She was leading us to the front of the apartment next to the alleyway and was stopped by a door. She was searching through her pockets until she pulled out some keys and began to try and find the one that unlocked the door. Finally, after hundreds of keys, she found it and opened the door leading to some stairs.
