Chapter 1

The cold air crept into my bedroom sending chills into my spine. I climbed out of bed and tip-toed into my bathroom trying not to wake up my sister whom somehow managed sleeping in my room out of all the rooms in the palace. I turned the faucet to warm and let the warm water fall as I stepped in.  That moment our messenger came in and said me and my sister had to come right away, I quickly put on a gown and ran into the dinning hall only to find the King and my mother talking very fast. They grabbed me and told me I had to come wit them right now and that today I was getting married.

The carriage ride was long and boring my mom and the king kept on looking back to make sure my sister and I were still back there, which was very strange because they haven't acted like this since Sophie was taken. "Claire?", asked my mom. "Yes", I replied with that innocent sound in my voice that makes parents think I am a harmless princess. "Just be safe and remember we love you." Well that was as weird as the rest of the carriage ride got, but all I could think about was my prince that I was about to marry, since I hadn't met him the possibilities were endless. Suddenly there was a loud noise and the carriage windows opened, next thing I knew I was grabbed pulled out of the carriage, right as I was about to protest my eyes fell upon him.
