I am a German Jew, Living in World War II
I don't know which to chose
both ways I will inevitably lose
My situation is catch twenty-two
and I don't know what to do
because I am a German Jew
living in World War two.
I have a good life,
three kids at home and a wife.
Do I dispose of my dignity
or defy my country?
My life is split in two
and I don't know what to do
because I am a German Jew
in the middle of the war of 1942.
The soldiers are coming
I can hear their combat-boots drumming
against the land.
They will ask me who I am,
whether I'm 'foe or friend.'
I am neither, I am both.
I know this is not the end,
this is only the beginning
the Nazi's will continue killing.
I will die for what is right,
there needn't be a fight
someday this war will end.
I know now, my religion is what I will defend.
Because I am a German Jew,
who is about to die in World War 2.

What did you think? I'm sorry but I don't know all too much about the WW2 but I just thought it would be interesting if that had to happen. I am only 13 so please forgive me for any spelling mistakes or grammar. =D thanks!
