Memories

Tears were shining like the stars

As I watched her cry from a distance

I ran at her in full speed

Till I crashed into nothingness

And fell to my knees, breathing hard.

She wasn't there

she had disappeared into ashes

Just a ghost from my past

Nothing more than a distant memory

They brought tears and sorrow within me

But I hope that tomorrow,

 will be a brighter day.
