A young Canadian girl named Tamicka Moon moves to England with her father after her mother dies in a tragic car accident. Unable to come to terms with the incident, her father throws himself into writing about the old house they have moved into, leaving Tamicka to roam the halls of the large, Gothic building alone. Apart from Mrs. Hughes, the housekeeper, all of the people from the nearby town of Eastlake will only talk about the creepy old house in hushed voices, if at all, and stay well away. But what is the dark secret of Munford House?
