The Forgotten Dollhouse

Alone in the corner

The dollhouse settled

With a cobweb blanket

For years no flesh touched

The sapphire paint starting to tear

Dust covering the roof on top

The dollhouse rested

Alone in the attic

Once filled with a child’s laughter

But the years pass by

And the life ages

For Neverland this is not

The forgotten dollhouse lingered

In its grey veil corner

Waiting for the next generation

To come

And its life to return
