More Than This: A Josh Hutcherson Fan Fiction

Chapter 1 Bri's POV.

“Gabriella, are you okay with your schedule for the next month?” My agent, Dana, asked me for the fiftieth time that day. “Remember, you have the runway walk for Prada on Thursday next week in Italy, the photo shoot and interview for vogue the following Monday, and then the video shoot for Victoria’s Secret on Tuesday after that. Also, that Friday is your big walk for Chanel in Paris. Also, we’ll be getting together at random because I feel like this could be a huge break for you!” Dana said with excitement.

            “Yeah, that sounds great! Thanks for getting me all these jobs! You know I really appreciate it.” I said with a smile, giving her a hug. I mean, I did owe her my modelling career. She, along with Trump Management, had gotten me on the cover of Vogue Italia, and I’ve already walked for Louis countless times.

            “No problem. I guess that is everything for our meeting today! I’ll call you later with flight times for next week!” I thanked her again and made my way out on to Spring Street. My apartment building was just down the block from the agency, so it was always easy for me to get there. I moved up to New York from Santa Monica to get my modelling career started, and it was going pretty well. The next month would be a big and busy one for me and I couldn’t wait to do the job for Victoria’s Secret.

            I walked down the street to the closest Starbucks. It was crazy busy and the line up was half way out the door. I was in the middle of the line when I just gave up and started to leave. As I walked out of line, I walked into someone and felt hot coffee pour all over me.

“Ow! Shit that’s hot!” I exclaimed, half laughing. I looked down at my new top and saw a huge brown coffee stain all over the white fabric

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. Here let me get you some napkins.” I looked up at the person who was talking. My eyes widened slightly. “Let’s go outside, there’s way more room to move around.” He followed with a laugh. I walked outside to follow him and was mesmerized. He was cute in the movies, but beautiful up front.

“I’m so sorry.” He handed me a bunch of napkins to dab myself off with. As I took the napkins, we made eye contact for the first time, and his eyes were a gorgeous shade of chocolate brown.

“Hey, you’re Gabriella Lexington! I saw you walk the runway for Versace last year at Fashion Week!” He said excitedly with a bright smile. I could help but giggle.

“Yes, I am! And you’re Josh Hutcherson, from a whole bunch of movies!” He nodded and smiled. “I have to say, I’m a huge fan of all of them, and it’s so nice to finally meet you.” I returned the grin and we shook hands.

“It’s nice to meet you too! I’ve watched a lot of runway shows with you in them. You’re really good! And I’m sorry we had to meet under such bad circumstances. I have an extra shirt in my car if you want it. It’s just around the corner.” Josh said, starting to walk away.

“Aww, thank you! And oh no, it’s okay. I live just down the block. Thanks anyways though.” I smiled.

“Oh, alright. Do you want me to walk you home? It’s the least I can do since I ruined your shirt.” Josh said sweetly.

“Well, if you really want too.” I laughed and we started to walk to my apartment.

“So, what made you get into modelling? If you don’t mind me asking…” His voice trailed off slightly.

“Umm, I did some modelling as a kid, and I’ve always loved it so one day I was pretty much just like, ‘This is what I want to do with my life, so I’m going to do it.’ And I’ve been really lucky too. I mean, never in a million years did I think Trump Management would hire me for the New York area. I was just in the right place at the right time.”

“Wow! How did they discover you?” Josh asked intrigued.

“I was in Santa Monica where I used to live, and it was actually on facebook. My friend was an aspiring photographer so I took a few photos for him and he put it on his website, and now here I am!” I laughed a little. “But enough about me, how did you get into acting?” I’ve always been a fan of Josh’s, even in his early movies and it was kind of surreal to think that he was a fan of my work now too.
