The red truck sits,
Used and dusty in the dark,
Paint peeling off,
The bed holds trash,
A tank,
Newspaper,
Showing it's use through the years.
The windshield is busted,
Cracks,
Hairline and not,
Spread throughout the remaining glass,
The seats held together by duct tape,
The stitches in the fabric popping and pulling,
Awaiting another use.
