and still never know where you've been

Love can bring you grief 

of show you how to heal 

you may feel relief 

but how do you know its real

Love can create dreams 

or a nightmare it may be

where nothing is as it seems 

and you just cannot break free

Love can be a harp

that plays a joyful tune 

at times it may be sharp 

but its heavens greatest boon

love has brought me you

the sweetest gift of all

and though its a long way down
