Chapter 9 : Halloween Special
"Halloween (or Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday observed on October 31, primarily in the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday All Saints' Day, but is today largely a secular celebration." Natalie read from her Iphone.
"Whatever, I just want to get some candy, thrash parties and go home to sleep." Gordan yawned, Natalie smacked him with her little fairy wand.
"Come on, we still have Jarod's party to go to." I smiled at the sight of the both of them.
"Hanna, where is Aaron?" Natalie asked as she shoved a handful of m&ms in her mouth. Oh, Aaron. What should I say about that coward soul in that hunk body? He practically ran off when Raymond opened the door. What if Raymond had just killed me there and then?
"He couldn't make it." I lied, truthfully, I didn't even make the effort to invite him.
"Really, sissy? Really?" Gordan teased throwing a mars at me. I just stared at the chocolate that was in my hands. "Come on, you know you want one." Gordan tempted. I threw the bar to Natatlie who caught it and smiled.
"I told you I'm giving up on sweets." I said, adjusting my pink hairband. Yup, I was Barbie, except with black and pink mixed stockings.
"What's the point of trick-o-treating without eating candy? Isn't that the whole point of Halloween?" Natalie pointed out. I sighed.
"Fine. Just one bar. Now would you just stop bothering me?" I tore open the wrapper and munched on the bar.
--Natalie's Point Of View--
It worked! She finally ate candy. Okay, maybe not candy but chocolate. It's sweet so I guess it's counted! Gordan winked at me and I gave him a thumbs up.
Hanna continued walking towards Jarod's house but it was so obvious that she wanted another bar of mars.
"Here have another, you gave all your candy to us." I exclaimed handing her a turkish delight. She took it and popped it into her mouth.
"Man, you guys are making me fat." Hanna moaned. I grinned.
"Did you see Hanna?" Gordan asked, as I asked the bartender for another vodka shot. I shook my head. "I didn't see her either. Think something happened to her?" Gordan asked, he looked so cute right there, his eyes were shining in the dimly light kitchen even his vampire fangs couldn't turn me off, although I hate vampires. I just have this thing about them taking over the world.
"I bet she's fine. Come sit." I patted the stool next to mine. He raised an eyebrow but sat on the stool.
"Are you alright?" He asked, glancing at me.
"You don't have to worry about me, I'm just going to have one more shot, and I will go and find you alrighty?" I asked pushing him off the stool, he stumbled and bumped into a blonde standing behind him making out with Raymond. I might be drunk but I think I know what's going to happen next.
"Sorry." Gordan mumbled, clearly holding in his anger. I got up from my seat but wobbled, my head was spinning like whirlwind. "Let's find Hanna, and get out of here." I heard Gordan whispered as I leaned on him for support. I nodded and followed him into the crowd that was in the living room.
--Hanna's Point Of View--
"GORDAN! NATALIE! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS!" I yelled as loud as I could. The DJ was playing the music alot louder than when we first came in, or maybe it was just the after effect of having a martini. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and I turned to look. Raymond glared at me, grabbing my wrist he dragged me up the stairs to the corridors. "What's up?" I tried to keep my cool, and not punch him in the face and break his nose.
"That Aaron guy, are you guys like together?" Raymond demanded his hands on either side of the wall, making escape impossible.
"Why should I tell you?" I asked, feeling for my cellphone.
"Cause I'm your--" "My? My what?" I mocked, grinning. "You," I poked his nose playfully. "Are nothing to me." I finished before pushing him aside, dashing into the nearest bathroom. What Raymond hates the most was people to tell him what he was to them. I got into the bathroom about to lock the door when I saw a couple having sex on the floor. "OhMyGosh, Sorry." I panicked, I slammed the door shut, the couple looked at me like I was crazy.
"You know in this situation you run out, and pretend you didn't see anything right?" The girl asked as she pushed the guy off her and started wearing her clothes.
"I know, but someone is out to get me! And please like, oh forget, I will not face you alright?" I rolled my eyes and quickly pulled out my phone. I speed dialled 1, praying that Gordan would pick up. He didn't, I called Natalie, her phone was switched off.
