Colby’s P.O.V

I had no idea where Brie would be at this hour of the morning. My mind was racing with ideas on where she could be. Something told me that my safest bet was to check out the newspaper staff room, or in other words, the computer lab.

When I walked in the computer room, I noted that there were not many people in there. As my eyes danced across the room, like a wild animal after its prey, I noticed Brie was not in there either.

Sheldon immediately came up to me once I drew this conclusion. “What do you want?” He asked in his normal nasally tone that reminded me of nails on a chalkboard.

“I want to know where Brie Banny is!” I let anger seep into my voice as I spoke at the nerd before me.

His eyes narrowed to a glare. “Well, she is not here.”

Swiftly, I gripped his navy blue collared shirt, pulling him towards me so he could see how outraged I was. “It's taking everything in me not to punch you right now! Tell me where she is! Or would you like to explain why the hell she wrote this,” I barked as I pointed, with my free hand, to a newspaper on the desk next to us.

Sheldon glanced down at the bolded-lettered paper and gave me a raised eyebrow, “Isn’t it quite obvious why she did what she did? After the video yesterday, it kinda gave her the right a way to get payback.”

I released Sheldon’s shirt and gave him a quizzical look. “Video? What video?”

A chuckle resonated from Sheldon’s throat. “The video you blasted on the T.V news station yesterday.”

“What are you talkin-shit!”

With urgency I left the newspaper room, but this time I was not on the hunt for Brie, but for Elliot.

I didn’t have to guess where Elliot would be for he was my best friend and it is always easy to find him for some reason.

Soon, I spotted Elliot in the gym. He was standing before two girls and trying to swoon them. With a low growl I stalked towards him. He saw me approaching and smiled. “Did you find her?” Elliot asked.

“No, but you my friend have some explaining to do!” I proclaimed as I stood next to him.

The two girls that were once in his presence disappeared, leaving him and I. “What do you mean?”

“Please, and I mean please tell me that you did not take the video camera I had set up in Brie’s living room and played a video on the T.V news while I was gone yesterday during fourth period.”

A guilt-ridden expression crossed Elliot’s face. “I thought that is what we were suppose to do with the camera!”

“Yes, but I wanted to know what was going to be showing. Now, Brie is all pissed and I’ve got no idea what the video was about.” I paused for a second before realizing that I might in fact know what the video contained. My blood started to boil slightly more than it was already. “Elliot! What was on the video?!”

He made slow step away from me, “It was priceless, and I thought you would be happy!”

My legs moved forward, advancing towards him. “Happy? Do I look happy?”

“Well, if we were in an alternate universe, you’d be the happiest man alive.”

“Thank goodness we don’t and you best hope that you can outrun me!”

Elliot went wide-eyed and took off to God knows where.

I stood there, knowing I was not going to go after him, I figure that he will know to avoid me all day today.

I also knew that I seriously need to calm down and then once again: find Brie.
