The Ice King looks out his mountain window, dreaming of finding himself a princess. He imagines holding Princess Bubblegum to his side, as they both watch the sunset, but every time he tries to picture her looking lovingly into his eyes, he sees someone else. A woman he doesn't recognize, yet a feeling of nostalgia runs over him everytime. He shakes his head and walks away to his couch. Gunther sitting nearby, reading a book.

"Gunther, I didn't know you could read!"

     "Wenk."

The Ice King walks over to see what Gunther was reading. It looks like a diary. It makes the Ice King feel strange, so he takes it from Gunther.

     "WENK!"

"Oh hush Gunther, go play outside and try to fly or something..."

     "wenk...."

Gunther wobbles to the window, and after gaining his balance on the sill, jumps. Far below he lands in a thick snow drift, the other penguins scoring his fall. 9...10...9...1! Gunther walks off the drift and slaps Gunter for giving him a 1.

Back up in the room, the Ice King sits down on his ice sofa, trying to read through the book. Its nearly impossible. It seems like all the creatures in his room were suddenly attracted to the book, jumping all over it. It creeps the Ice King out big time. Suddenly, a big sloshing eyeball falls from above, landing dead center on the page he was trying to read. In his panic the Ice King throws the book out the window, and far below it sinks into a snow drift.

"Oh well..." The Ice King mumbles, "Now what do I do..."

The Ice King had already stolen a princcess in the early morning, hoping to get an early escape before Finn and Jake found out. Too bad for him, Princess Bubblegum had a movie night planned for the same day, so Finn and Jake were already there before him to help with preparations.

Now the Ice King had no idea what to do. Looking around he notices the creatures were still occupied with the diary. Quietly, the Ice King flys out the window and heads down to his minions. All the penguins were entertaining themselves by the lake, which was never forzen over all the way. There was always just enough water for his little penguins to get food from the ocean. He walks along the icy edge, and looks into the water. Gunther waddles up beside the Ice King, gazing into the water with him.

"Oh Gunther... Why am I such a fool?"

     "Wenk.... wenk Wenk WeNk?"

"What do you mean it's my fault? What did I do to deserve this?"

     "Wenk wenwenk wonk wenk."

"The crown? Well, I can't say I remember how long I've had it... maybe 1,000 years or so? What does any of that have to do with it?"

Gunther shrugs, but he knows more about the Ice King than anyone else. But alas, poor Gunther couldn't do anything to help. Or could he? Looking up, he notices how close the Ice King is to the water. Gunther waddles off and starts planning with his brethren.

From behind the Ice King, the penguins pile at the top of the hill. Gunther points his fin up, the other penguins readying themselves for launch.

     "Wenk... wenk... WENK!"

From below the Ice king hears an increasingly loud growing hiss. He turns to see a horde of penguins sliding down to him. The Ice King tries to fly off, but the penguins hit a ramp of snow, flying up towards him. As they fly from above, Gunther reaches down and grabs the crown.

     "NO! MY CROWN!"

The Ice King immedietly loses his powers, and falls to the earth. He lands in a snow drift, but the fall doesn't seem to shake him. He can feel the crown calling for him. He looks out to the lake, and watches as all the penguins swim away in the distance, leaving him all alone. At first the Ice King tries to swim out to sea, but Gunther and Gunter return , dragging their poor lost King back to shore.

This goes on all night, until finally in the early hours of the next morning the Ice King drops from exauhstion. Gunther and Gunter carry him to his room, and toss him onto the bed. High-fiving eachother they waddle off to find some food.
