'2 months later'

Everything in the wedding was going as planned.

Naging maasikaso si Jane sa kasal niya. Not that she's excited, because she knows she's getting married to a stranger, but the queen's pretty ecstatic and she just couldn't seem to break the mood so easily.

Just so that it could be worth it, she planned her dream wedding. White flowers on the side of the aisle, gold motifs for her bridesmaids and all other things that was needed.

Except her dream groom. Practically useless.

Nakakapagod. Sobrang nakakapagod. Mas madali lang pala siyang pangarapin. Of course, it was hard. Joaquin needs to get married for the sake of tradition and he's already late. So everything is practically rushed.

But of course, to the royal family, rushed is still perfect. Perks.

She entered her room after their final taste test. It was the last thing they needed to do, and the day after tomorrow is the wedding.

After getting dressed, she lied limp on her bed. She thought of all the things that was going on her life, and she couldn't seem to get one right.

Who is she kidding? She's not doing the wedding for the prince! Wala siyang planong pakasalan ito! Naaawa siya dito, oo. Pero hindi niya pakakasalan ito. Kung hindi lang talaga naging loko si Jeremy, malamang malaya pa rin itong gumagalaw sa mundo.

Alam ni Jane na niloloko niya lang ang sarili niya. Para kay Jeremy ang pagpapakasal niya. Para malaman niya kung gaano kalaki ang nawala sa kanya.

All the thoughts in her head was making her sick. She decided to stay in her balcony to get some fresh air. Ever since she and her family stepped on Nymphia, the royal family was very accommodating. Nakatira na siya sa palasyo kasama ang pamilya niyang nasa ibang mga kwarto. Her family is enjoying in Nymphia so much.

She sighed. Hurting the people she loves the most for the sake of having revenge to the man she loves the most. Really nice.

"Why are you still awake?"

Nagulat ang buong katauhan niya nang makita niya si Joaquin na nasa loob ng kwarto niya. She looked at herself a little bit. She's wearing a freaking cream nightgown!

Tumalikod siya. Sana hindi napuna ni Joaquin ang pamumula niya.

"Mom and dad likes you so much."

Saka lang ito napalingon kay Joaquin. He was on her side now, watching the city lights that were visible on her balcony.

"What?"

"Mom and dad likes you so much. Did you know that they kept on talking about you?" He said with a smile. "They didn't care who or what kind of person am I going to marry. They were so understanding."

Napangiti na lamang si Jane sa sinabi ni Joaquin.

"I just wish that Nymphia could be as understanding as them."

Hindi siya sigurado, ngunit may narinig siya mula sa pinto. She looked at door that was a bit more open than it was before, but she didn't mind.

Unti-unti niyang binaling ang tingin kay Joaquin. Nakita niya ang ibang klaseng sakit na nararamdaman nito't hindi niya maipaliwanag. She felt the guilt rushing down her system. Ginagamit lang niya ang prinsipeng ginagamit siya.

Mababaliw na ata siya sa sitwasyon niya.

"Don't worry." She said while patting his back. "This wedding is for everything, right? Don't worry."
