The Curse

Love is the greatest disease

In all the universe

It brings even the strongest and most fierce of people to their knees

Like the most powerful curse

An enchantress could cast

I volunteered to fall in love last

But instead I found a soul to love and was heart broken so fast

Again and again i repeat my promise

'I will always love you and only you'

As I repeat I realise

Love is just a curse in disguise

You think you've gotten the love you sought

And then you let your self fall in hopes that you will be cought

When you hit the ground there is nothing for you to do

Except let the oceans fall from your eyes

And engulf you

Blood soon replaces the tears

And you are consumed by all your darkest fears

You know that it was your own fault the love was lost

And you know to have it back you would give anything no matter the cost

For the love of the one I love I would give anything even my life

But in knowing that love is just a curse

I also know that my situation will only get worse
