Hopefully, I can work out some sort of way to carry on writing this story.... ANYWAYS...... Enough with my yapping, I'll let you read. DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT AND VOTE!!! ENJOY!

Violet's P.O.V:

Biting my lip, I fiddled with the hem of my shirt. After my wolf's outburst, she just disappeared and left me all alone. Now, I was back to my usual self without any influence from my wolf. I could feel Brianna's icy glare focused on me from across the table. We were sitting in Alpha Eric's office and waiting for Axel to arrive. Shifting uncomfortably, I brushed my hair behind my ear and looked up. Eric's green eyes were soft as he smiled at me. Blushing, I looked away. A heavy silence hung in the air leaving me as tense as a board. The door behind us made a creaking noise as it opened. Axel's glorious scent hit me as the air from outside the room sent it my way. In the corner of my, I saw Brianna inhale deeply and smile. She gazed up at Axel like he was an angel; I guess he kind of looked like one. His jet black hair was tousled from when he would run his hands through it and his blue eyes held uncertainty and a bit of hostility. I knew he was behind me as I automatically relaxed. Brianna stared at Axel expectantly as she gave him a toothy grin. Occasionally, her eyes would dart to the space next to her on the couch. Rolling his eyes, Axel sat next to me and placed a hand on my knee. Brianna's eyes flashed gold for a second before she glared at me. Sighing, I held the hand Axel had placed on my knee and gave it a small squeeze. His eyes shifted to me after he finished looking at Brianna. Flashing me a gorgeous smile, he squeezed my hand back and pecked me on the cheek. I heard brianna growl and a throat clear awkwardly.

"So, I suppose I should leave you three alone." Announced Eric, standing up and making his way to the door.

"Aren't you two dating? Doesn't this concern you too?" Questioned Axel, furrowing his eyebrows.

Smiling, Eric turned around.

"I've already found my mate, Axel. Don't worry, Brianna's all yours." He said and closed the door behind him.

The room was yet again left in awkward silence. My heart clenched at what Eric said; 'Brianna's all yours'.

Sneering, Brianna stood up and paced back and forth.

"What do you see in her?" She mumbled, though I don't think she meant for Axel and I to hear.

"Everything." Replied Axel, stroking the back of my hand.

Brianna must have realized what he meant because she growled and threw herself at me. Before she could even get within kicking distance, Axel had her pinned to the ground. Her eyes were gold and filled with anger and longing; an odd combination. She was breathing heavily as Axel tightened his grip on her wrists above her head. They were in a similar position to how Dante and I were during training.

"I don't get it!" She screeched, kicking her legs.

Noticing her tactics, Axel straddled her waist.

"You're my mate, not hers!" Brianna's canines grew slightly, just barely skimming her bottom lip. Axel's eyes turned gold as a deep growl escaped his throat. I could tell his wolf was starting to take over, so I stepped in.

"This is your fault," I said quietly, catching both of their attention, "If you hadn't rejected Axel, he would have been yours and not mine."

Brianna glared at me, her cheeks taking on a slight reddish hue as embarrassment clouded her features.

"So? I changed my mind! I want him back, you can go now." She smirked at her comeback. Her face turned frightened as I rose from my sitting position. My wolf was back at full force; she didn't like the tone of voice Brianna was using on us, like she was superior.

"You dare speak to me like that?" My voice was demonic, even scaring me a little, "My mate is an Alpha and so is the boy who's in love with me. You think you can overpower me?"

An evil laugh made its way out of my chest. My wolf was addressing Brianna the way she would to a child. Brianna's wolf shone in her eyes; they glowed with possessiveness that only a mate could hold.

Brianna's face was filled with pure terror, whilst Axel looked at me in awe. May I just tell you that some of your features change slightly when your wolf gains more control over your human counterpart.

Seeing my reflection in the window, I smirked. My features were sharper, making me look tougher than I actually was. My usual green eyes were now bright gold. The tips of my canines glinted from just above my bottom lip. Shaking, Brianna clamped her hands around Axel's arms and hid her head in his chest. Axel's eyes flashed gold before he shook his head.

I laughed, clear and humorless. It bounced off of the walls, making the room seem bigger.

"Now, you're scared?" My wolf's voice broke the silence; filled with malice and disdain. Chuckling, I took a few steps forward until I reached the trembling figure of Brianna. She was still hidden under Axel's broad chest.

"Coward."

The word was so simple, yet it brought great shame upon whoever was on the recieving end of it. I saw Brianna flinch and tighten her grip. Axel visibly tensed and gritted his teeth. I probably angered his wolf. Even though we were together, nothing could stop the natural instinct of werewolves. Brianna was Axel's mate; his reaction was understandable.

Sighing, I brought my hand down onto Axel's shoulder and lightly pulled. He didn't budge. Inside, I rejoiced; my wolf was still the more dominant one here, so I had no say in what my body would do. My wolf growled, she wasn't happy that her present mate was defending this girl. I'd gone through enough heartbreak in the past; anything could make my wolf snap.

"Get off!" I seethed, balling my hands into fists at my sides. My nostrils flared as my bottom lip sliced open yet again. They stung slightly, but my wolf was way too furious to care.

Growling, Axel stood up. He shielded Brianna from my view. I could see that, like me, his wolf had overpowered him. I caught a glimpse of my Axel within the depths of his swirling gold orbs. He looked sorry by what he was about to do. Confused, my wolf stepped back. Before we could even put our foot down, Axel's hand shot out and encircled my neck. Eyes wide and filled with shock, I looked down at Axel who was glaring up at me as he held me up. My feet dangled as I fought to gain my breath back. Furiously, I clawed at his hands. I could tell Axel was fighting with his wolf as different emotions danced across his eyes.

Choking, I felt myself getting lightheaded. My grip on Axel's wrists loosened up considerably as my wolf took refuge back inside me. Now that she was gone, it was just me left to face the wrath of Axel's very powerful Alpha wolf. My eyes drifted shut as my breathing became shallower. Black spots danced across my vision as my head lolled to the side. There was a sharp intake of breath before I felt myself falling to the ground. Instead of hitting the hard wooden floorboards, I felt warm arms encircle me.

"Baby, I'm so so sorry," I could hear Axel constantly apologising, while he buried his head in my hair.

I drifted in and out of consciousness as I felt myself being picked up and carried somewhere. Eventually, I became too weak to fight it; I let myself fall into the familiar dark abyss.

Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale. That was all I could hear. Breathing was all I could hear surrounding me. Some were deep and slow, whilst others were shallow and quick. Ever so slowly, I could feel my body again. It started in my fingertips; a light tingling sensation. Groaning, my eye lids fluttered open. Immediately, a pair of warm arms enveloped me. Smiling, I buried my head in their shoulder and nuzzled my nose into the crook of their head. Mmm... Oranges. Wait!

Startled, I jerked back from the hard body. My eyes travelled across the room to find Axel sitting on his bed with his head in his hands. Confused, I moved my eyes back to the person in front of me. One word came to mind; Mate.
