Puzzled. That's what I was. I was extremely puzzled.

"Hello, love."

I knew the person in front of me. His voice was familiar, as was his face. He seemed somewhat suprised, but it was mixed with expectation. It took a few moments to click in.

It was Kol.

And I was growling at him.

I stood up straight, my eyes widening.

"Kol?" I asked.

He smirked.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. "What am doing here? Why am I covered in dirt? Why the hell am I growling at you? I don't growl. Do I? No, I don't think so." I looked around. "Why are we in a cemetery? Did someone die? Of course they did. But who?" I frowned. "Wait a second... died! How the hell am I here right now? Am I a ghost? Oh that is so cool!" I grinned. I then spotted something beside me. A man, with his throat torn out. "Who's he? Is he dead? Of course he is, what am I talking about?" I looked at Kol. "Why would you kill him?" I felt something sharp prick my lip and I narrowed my eyes. "Ow." Suddenly, panic started to form inside me. I reached up slowly and touched my tooth. No, not tooth, fang. "Oh no... This is extremely not good." I looked up at Kol frantically. "You didn't kill him, did you?"

"Afraid not, love. You did."

It all came back to me. Waking up, digging myself out of the hole in the ground, attacking the inoccent man that came to my aid. Feeling his blood course through my veins.

"I'm a vampire, aren't I?" I asked flatly.

"Indeed you are."

"Ah crap," I muttered. "Now that is just not nice! Here I thought I could come back as a ghost and haunt people, but oh no! I have to come back a vampire. That is not nice at all." I looked up at Kol. "How the hell am I a vampire? I killed myself instantly. And no one gave me thier blood." I looked up at the sky. "If this is one of your witch spirit's idea of a joke, it is not funny!"

"Actually, it was my blood that turned you," Kol announced.

I looked back at him. "That's impossible. You didn't give me blood. In fact, all of this is impossible. I killed myself. I wasn't meant to come back. So why the hell am I back?"

"When you passed out, I gave you blood, just incase," Kol stated.

I stared at him for a moment and took a deep breath.

"Of course you did," I laughed. "What other explanation is there? Of course I couldn't just die. No, that's not allowed to happen now, is it? I just always have to come back! Well you know what? I didn't want to come back! I just wanted to live my afterlife like a normal person." I glared at nothing imparticular. "And this is why I hate Sundays. Everything bad happens on Sundays."

"It's actually Monday," Kol informed me.

"Yes, but technically it happened yesterday. Well, last night," I said. I snapped my head up abruptly. "If I'm a vampire, then why are you the only one here? Am I not loved anymore? Good. I don't like being loved. It's weird."

"I'm the only one here, because I'm the only one that knows," Kol smirked.

I nodded. "Of course you are. I mean, it's not a conversation starter, is it? Oh, by the way, Marni's still alive. Slipped her some blood the other day, so she's actually a vampire. Just thought you should know." I rounded on him. "Shouldn't your blood have passed out of my system?"
