I woke up to the sound of a woman screaming. At first I thought it was the last remaining sounds of a nightmare but that's when I heard the thuds and the breaking of glass and what sounded like desperate struggling from the room next door. Flinging on my dressing gown I quickly made my way to the next room and upon pushing open the door I found a women and a man lying on the floor.

Their eyes still wide open in fear. Dead. That women and man was my own mother and father. At that instant everything went cold and my body started to tremble. A mad cackling could be heard from  opposite side of the room and upon tearing my eyes away from the heart breaking sight my eyes met with my parents killer; dirty matted hair and green eyes with a foul smirk playing on his lips. I'll never forget the way his eyes sparked with pleasure. I couldn't see what he was holding in his left hand but at the time I didn't care. Tears weld up in my eyes. My sadness suddenly turned to anger as I ripped the TV of the stand beside me throwing it as him. The blow to the head and the electric shock killed him instantly. I was breathing rapidly and angry tears were falling from my eyes.

"You'll prove very useful" a voice whispered behind me. Turning around I was faced with a small man that looked large in weight. His face was almost rat-like, smelled like a rat too. He was carrying someone or something in his rat like paws. As he edged a little closer towards the light I could see a strange looking creature with snake like features. He pierced something into my left forearm but I kicked him off making my escape only to feel a horrible pain shoot through my stomach but I kept on running.

Everything started to dissolve around me in thick black smoke and I could feel myself being pulled somewhere else.

Innocent people that I never seen falling to the ground. Dying in front of me. It was horrific but I couldn't turn away .Then I noticed a girl amongst the sea of the innocent dead victims. She had long blonde hair falling perfectly around her face behind her. Her eyes were closed and her skin was pale her mouth slightly open, almost as if she was sleeping softly. No it can't be! I-it was me!

Darkness started to close in on me, suffocating me. but this time the onimous figure of death  stood before me. A hissing voice sounded in my ear "You're a seer Abbie. You can't tell them of your secret. If you do I will take you as my own!"

I woke up, the last few words still echoing in my head. I let out a shaky sigh as I looked around, realising that I was no longer in my bed at home, realising that my mother and father were no longer around to comfort me. I let a little single crystal like tear escape from my eye. In another room I could hear a kettle boiling, and then pouring.

The man from last night, or rather Severus, walked into the room holding a cup of tea and sitting in a green leather chair in the corner of the room.

"I see you're awake" he said in a deep emotionless tone "What is your name child?"

"Arianna Sir. Arianna Grey" I replied in a quiet voice.

"Judging from your wounds I have no need to ask you of what happened last night. As soon as they're healed you can go back to wherever you came from" Severus added in another emotionless tone. I didn't answer; I just stared sadly at the floor, as if it was going to say something for me. I have nowhere to go not now anyway. He looked at me for a long time, his black eyes felt as if he was looking into my memory.

"Sir I don't have anywhere to go" I said finally as he looked at me blankly and answered.

"You may stay here for the time being I guess" I smiled at him thankfully. "Come, I'll take you to your room" he said as he gestured me to follow him.

He led me to a big dark room. Although it was dark it was quite grand and beautiful. The floor was beautiful shining dark oak floor boards. The walls were a soft but dark green with swirls of golden patterns, the coving was also golden. The bedposts were the same colour with old carvings in them which made them look old and beautiful yet mysterious. The silk curtains around the bed were the same green colour as the walls and so were the curtains over the window. I thanked him for his hospitality and he walked out leaving me in the large but beautiful room.

I pulled up my top to examine my scar in the mirror but when I did to my shock there wasn't one. Maybe that was the same for my wrist but when I looked I was a mixture of shocked and intrigued with what saw. I saw a faded tattoo. It was a skull and wrapped around it was a snake. For a second I was sure the snake moves but it must've been my imagination tattoos don't move... Well weapons don't magically make tattoos either. That night I couldn't get to sleep, my mind was on overload. Let's just hope that days will get better
