I spent a week reuniting with people I had left behind a couple years ago; I even got a couple important phone calls from my parents and Rahul. Rahul seemed pretty angry but yet calm, he told me what I did was really wrong and that I messed with his feelings and I get where he is coming from because there was a lot of me changing my mind. Though at the end he wished me a good life but that wasn’t the case with my parents, they just yelled at me and somehow they knew that I am in LA so they said they will hunt me down and pull me out of the craziness but I don’t think they will be doing that soon because I am getting married and that to the one love of my life. That night a big thing happened to me, Cody took me to an amazing Chinese restaurant that was close by to the place where we had our first date. This date felt a lot like the first time we went out alone, I had butterflies in my stomach because it had been a while since we are alone in public after the name calling. Our conversation was just going through memories and laughing at things we did when we were younger, after we had dinner a couple girls who seemed our age came over and spoke to Cody, they defiantly didn’t approve of Cody and me because they were staring me down and probably cursing me out in their heads.

After a couple moments of feeling uncomfortable Cody took me out of the restaurant and we went on a small drive, the city lights amused me, energy brought life back into me. After a while of driving around Cody brought me to an amusement park that had a beach, we went on a couple rides, had dessert and decided to walk upon the beach. The wind blew through my black hair and my white dress flowed as I held Cody’s hand. He suddenly let go and chose to sit down upon the warm sand that was cooling down, Cody watched me run around while playing in the water. I could see a smile upon his face the entire time, after I called him to come join me he came closer, our bodies just centimeters apart, his eyes stared into mine while his lips turned into a smile. I blinked a couple times to make sure this was reality, I could hear music play in the background, and soft hums made my heart skip a beat. We took me by my waist letting the music carry us in its melody, we swayed back and forth, and spinning me a couple soft times he let go of my hand bringing himself upon the sand. His hand reached in his pocket pulling out a red box with the most perfect thing.

“Samar Kapoor, I known you 3 years now, I feel like this is a perfect moment to tell you I love you very much, I will always be here through thick and thin because you are the one I love. You complete me Sam; even though we fight at times I want you to know I will always make it up to you. I still remember when Sasha and Alli were talking about me stalking your Facebook, I will always remember looking at your profile and catching a glimpse of the most the beautiful Angel I have ever seen, then meeting you at my concert and thinking she is perfect for me. Whenever I see you I know what I was feeling that day was right, as days and years have gone by, I gotten to know you and what you mean to me, you are funny, smart, beautiful, fun loving and just amazing. Since our big fight things have changed for me, when you left me I felt alone and realized what you mean to me, bringing you back to LA was the best thing I ever did and now being with you tonight gave me the courage to ask you this. Ms. Samar Kapoor will you marry me and become Mrs. Sam Simpson?”

At this time a crowd had formed around us in a circle, I could feel tears rush to my eyes and pour down my face; this was a very emotional moment for me because I didn’t have any words to speak. Cody honestly took my breath away and to think about me spending the rest of my life with him was big but I knew it was an oath worth taking.

“Cody Robert Simpson, coming to LA with you was the best decision I ever made and to think that I have the honor of becoming Mrs. Simpson really thrills me and I don’t think I can no to this. "YES CODY I WILL MARRY YOU!” I said running into Cody’s arms, many cheered and pictures were taken. Cody placed the diamond ring upon my ring finger which made me the tears of joy come quicker down my face.

Everything that had happened in 3 years changed my life in a very big way, it all started out with a meeting, then it changed to something more, we were pushed away from each other but we made our way back because that’s where we belonged. The thoughts of him being away from me did scare me but at the end he assured me he was here to stay. My parents were unhappy and I was a horrible daughter to play with their emotions and lie to them but at the end his love for me was undying and so was mine. He brought the real Sam out and made sure that she was here to stay. Getting married to the one you love brings such joy to a person because you know that they will always be by you, our love was united by our hearts and our feelings not by what people around us wanted and they were clearly not the best. Our love doesn’t die even though we are from different backgrounds and different religions. Cody and Sam are here to stay even if the world decides to leave their sides; they will always be together, forever.
