Before you start reading this, I'd really appreciate if you read this small note.

It's been almost 2 weeks, and I'm honestly sorry for that. I've been extremely busy lately and when I'm home I just like to chill out and enjoy it. It's hard to explain to you guys that I do have a life outside of writing because then people say "you're bragging" when I'm actually not.

I've been recieving hate as well for not updating, as well as not responding to people's inboxes. Right now I've got school and work and things I do with friends and on top of that, I'm sick. I want to say thank you to the people that are patient and understanding. Also, to the people who are messaging me rude things because I haven't gotten back to their p.m- I currently have 327 messages and can't be expected to read them all, although I wish I could.

I just felt like those things needed to be said.

  Happy reading!

The ride in the ambulance was silent. Not only was I feeling extremely uncomfortable because I was in a stretcher without injuries, but I had just witnessed the father of my child shoot himself. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't wrap my head around it.

After a half an hour ride of being completely stiff, my stretcher was lifted out of the ambulance and wheeled toward the same hospital that we visited Marcus in. I couldn't exactly crane my head around to see, but I could see the same familiar white building that we had been in only weeks before.

"Just hang on, ma'am, we'll get a room for you and Mr. Horan to share." The paramedic said. I only nodded because I was speechless, I had so many thoughts running around in my brain but I couldn't focus on a single one. There was just so many questions that I had that could never be answered.

"Hey Avery," I heard a husky voice, and when I looked up I saw Zayn holding Aimee, walking alongside my stretcher. Aimee had a frown etched onto her face and by the red streaks on her cheeks I could tell that she had been crying. "Your mum's okay, see?"

Aimee hiccuped and nodded, sticking her thumb in her mouth.

"Is she sick?" I heard her faintly whisper.

"No, she's okay. They just want to make sure she didn't get hurt." Zayn assured her as he tried to keep up with my stretcher that was moving down the white halls. "Avery, Niall is going to be put in the same room as you. Ollie is going to be in the room next to you."

  "Ollie's alive?" I gaped.

"Shot in the leg. He lost some blood, but he'll be alright. Kate doesn't have that good of an aim." He smiled. I had so many more questions that I wanted to ask, but right at that moment I was being wheeled into a dimly-lit room and could hear Niall's voice in the background.

"Avery," He croaked. I couldn't raise my head because it was basically locked into place and my view was blurred by the tears welling up in my eyes. I blinked them away quickly and was met with Niall looking down on my stretcher.

"Don't scare me like that again." He said sternly, cupping my face in his hands and bending over to kiss me hard. It made me cry even harder- a half an hour ago I thought I would never get to feel this ever again. A half an hour ago I was supposed to die.
