Ignorance breeds ignorance

an i'm sure that you'll find

that an eye for an eye

will make the whole world blind

Intolerance of the Word

only leads to animosity

while the withered wise men

recount its history

The age old fables

now etched in stone

its morals distorted

the meaning unknown

The adults naïve

and the children innocent

the brainwashed population

condemn the insolent

This riddle of humanity

is yet to be solved

and continues to baffle those

who dare be involved

So listen closely when they preach

and pick out the locutions

that pit foe against foe

and denounce the solution
