I Never Knew [A Zayn Malik Fanfic]

Prologue:

“I know how much this means to you but what about me?” I cried as I tried not to look up to him. Why did he have to leave me for his band? I was his best friend and now, I wasn’t going to be even a memory!

“I’m sorry Anna but this is my dream.” I could feel the tears stream down my cheek as I shot back up.

“But we are best friends!”

“We were.” His words hit me so hard and I left, storming off from the park. The cars were beeping and I just ran, away from him and the nightmare he caused. I ran quickly to my house and shot up the stairs to my bedroom.

“Why was I ever his best friend?” I sobbed through the pillow as I heard my mother comfort me.

“Shh.” She stroked my hair and I fell asleep.
