Living With The Originals

Bow Ties Are Cool.

The sky was grey, and the air was cold. Thunder clashed loudly from above, and lightning lit up the forest every few seconds. 

I was running, from something, to something, I didn't know. All I knew was that I was confused. I heard a shout from the left of me and I changed direction, heading towards it. As I did so, my foot got caught on a tree root and I tripped, tumbling to the ground.

"Oh for the love of- OW! That hurt!" I cursed, getting up again. I brushed the dirt off my pants and jumped slightly when I looked up.

There were people around me. People I knew.

All five of the remaining Original vampires stood in front of me, black expressions on their faces. 

"Oh, hey guys," I greeted, happy to find that a scary monster wasn't waiting for me. "What brings you to the middle of the forest?"

"It's you," Klaus announced in a monotone voice.

"Huh?" I frowned.

"It's going to be your fault," Rebekah continued.

"That you're in the forest?" I asked, puzzled.

"You'll be the one to do it," Kol stated in the same tone as the others.

"What the bloody hell are you people talking about?" I questioned, not bothering to hide my confusion.

"You won't stop," Finn said.

"And you'll be the death of us all," Elijah finished, lifting his head to look at me.

"What?" I asked. "What are you talking about?"

None of them responded, instead, at the same time, they all starting yelling in pain, grabbing their heads and falling to the ground.

"No... NO!" I shouted, going to rush forwards. But I couldn't move. Their bodies started crumpling, their skin going grey, until they fell silent.

They were dead.

"No..." I whispered, trying to get forwards. "I don't understand, what's happening?!"

"They're dead," a voice announced.

I turned to see that Stefan and Damon had entered the clearing.

"I can see that, but 

why

?" I demanded, aware that a tear was rolling down my cheek.

"Because of you," Stefan said.

"You did this," Damon continued. Behind them, more familiar faces appeared. Caroline, Lexi, Anna, Katherine, Pearl, Shadow, Ash. All were staring at the ground.

"No I didn't!"

"Yes you did. And with them, we all die," Stefan stated.

"What? What do you mean?!"

I got no reply, because at once, they all started fading, turning into sand and drifting away in the wind.

I gasped and sat up, my heart beating ferociously in my chest. I looked around frantically, panic spreading through my body.  It was freezing, and the sound of wind rustling through the leaves of the trees above me sent chills down my spine.

I didn't know where I was, or how the hell I'd gotten here.

I was lying in the middle of a forest, trees surrounding me.
