Chapter One

I walked into the large school nervously clutching my books. It was like the first day of kindergarden all over again. I itched my brown wig and tried to get used to the awkward feeling of my green contacts. This was day one of being undercover.

"Hey!" A petite blond said walking beside me,"you must be Sarah Hill. I'm Rebecca Jones, I'll be showing you around the school."

"Oh okay, thanks." I replied to her softly.

My manager Cal must have set this up, he must have checked every little detail is this girls history. I guess this means she is safe. And as long as I keep a low profile, know one will notice me.

"So where are you from?" She asked with a warm smile.

I hesitated. I was from Hollywood, born and raised. But I could never tell her that.

"I'm from, Halifax. I just moved here to Miami." I lied.

"Oh cool, what was Halifax like?"

Damn, why didn't I pay more attention in Geography class.

"Um, it was, cold." I hope that was right.

"Oh,"she said not seeming to really care if the answer I had given was right or not,"I think we have all the same classes together. Science is our first class. Come on." She dragged me into a classroom already filled with about ten people. Everyone looked at me as I came in, did they know who I really was? But then I remembered, I was the new girl, of course they would stare.

"Let's sit in the back." I suggested to her.

She nodded and the two of us grabbed two seats near the back left corner.

"Do you like Science?" She asked me starring at me intently with her brown eyes.

"Ah, yeah. Science is alright. I'm more into English and history though."

"Oh no way, me too!" She replied with excitment,"so what are some of your hobbies?"

I thought, I loved to sing and dance, but I wasn't going to say that.

"I like art." I lied, although, it wasn't a complete lie. I did enjoy drawing and painting when I had freetime.

"Me too! Drawing is my passion. I hope someone to become an artist, but until then, I'm in school." She said with a laugh.

I laughed along with her,"Well I'd love to see some of your work."

"You should come over after school today! I'll show you some of it then." She said putting her hand over mine happily.

"Yeah that would be gre-" I stopped talking when something hit me in the back of the head,"Ow!"

I looked behind me into a pair of emerald green eyes, they almost instantly make my heart stop.

"Watch were your going!" I said stubbornly.

He looked surprised by my outburst, and instead of saying sorry, he just walked away.

As soon as he was out of earshot Rebecca whispered into my ear,"That's Even Gradle. He's a freak. He never talks to anyone and he always looks like he's about to punch someone. I'd stay away from him if I were you." She warned.

I glanced at Even from the corner of my eye, and caught him staring at me. We linked eyes for a moment before he looked away angrily.

What a strange first day this was becoming. Was highschool always this wierd?

Chapter Two

Rebecca and I stood in her room as she showed me her art work.

"This is my favorite. I had it framed." She said gesturing to a framed drawing of an angelic looking ballerina hanging on one of her four purple walls. I had to admit, she was very talented.
