Chapter 18

(The monitor system in Lance's office----->)

**A/N- Warning this chapter may cause extreme fangirling, emotional overloads, and of course SEVERE nosebleeds...that is all, have a good day.**

Rolling over in my cot in  sleep room for the umpteenth time tonight, I finally gave up and  kicked off  the blanket and rolled out of bed. Danny, Tommy, and Dave were still sprawled out on blankets  on the  floor where they were playing cards. The empty bowls of chips and can of cola still  surrounding  them. Robbie had tried to get  them to clean up and go to bed but they refused as they got into a heated  game of go fish. It was hiliarious  to watch them turn the simple card game into a competitive sport. I tip toed past them and Chuck snorted in a  sleep, scratched his chest, and rolled  over on his bed. Robbie was snuggled  into a snug ball under his covers, and the only thing you could see was his adorable blond curls poking up from underneath the blanket. He was  too cute words. My little gay boy  just  rolled his eyes at me and went back to thumbing through his magazine. He was currently pissed at  me for not stalking our boyfriend like the creeper he was, and initiating some more mind blowing fire station sex.

Not even bothering to  grab a shirt, I slowly tip toed down the stairs towards the kitchen. Maybe some hot chocolate will lull me into sleep. It was two a.m. in the morning and it seems that everyone was asleep but  me, or so I thought as I turned the corner and looked across the garage bay to see the lights were on in the chief's office. I wondered what Lance was doing  up at this time of the morning. So naturally, I went over  to investigate the situation. And my little twink threw me another dirty look before tossing his magazine aside, and dashing into his closet. In three seconds flat, he hurried back out, but this time he was prancing on his six inch, blood red fuck me pumps and red lace garters. He combed fingers through his hair disheveling it a little before he  pranced up front and center and striking a come hither pose, such a shameless strumpet.

The door to the outer office was wide open and I peeked in to see him sitting in his chair talking on the phone. Xavier was leaning against the front of the desk with his eyes glued to the multiple TV screens in the opposite wall. I was going to just leave them be, they looked like they were dealing with something important. But Lance saw me dithering with indecision and waved for me to come into the office. I sighed and walked into the room, I went to stop and sit in the chair opposite his desk but  he continued motioning for me to come to him. So I kept going until I was standing at his side, and I guess that still wasn't enough for my man. Lance still carried on his conversation, his tone never wavered from what is expected from a man of his position as he pulled me into his lap.

I almost purred in delight as I snuggled in taking delight in the  feel of his hard muscles pressed against my naked skin. I looked up to see Xavier smirking at us before turning back to the screen. I took a peek at what he was watching and that was when my attention was diverted completely away from my boyfriend. The city's Emergency Management grids were flashing red in one zone, and Xavier had  zoomed in and brought that section up to show what looked to be the industrial part of the waterfront. There were several storage warehouses located there. Some of them were still smoldering and you could clearly see other fire crews, police, and  paramedics scattered all over the area. It was like watching choreographed chaos. But I knew for a fact that it may look that way but what really happened out there was far from it.

I heard Lance say the  words,"Probable arson." Into the phone and my eyebrows shot up to my hairline. I turned my head to see him pinch the bridge of his nose and shake his head.  Wow, they thought that someone had deliberately set that fire. I waited until he hung up the phone and he gently brushed a finger over cheek and spoke to Xavier. I remained silent as I listened to their conversation. I was surprised to learn that the Fire Marshall's have been busy investigating a series of arson cases across the city. They think they may have a serial arsonist on their hands. They were able to collect enough evidence that lead them to believe it's someone or even a group of people were attempting to cause large scale fires, but what has them stumped was the locations.
