Calum was nervous, excited and a little jet lagged when he steps out of the plane and into the huge airport where Luke was going to meet him.

He was excited about getting to see, touch and hear Luke's laughter again, maybe even kiss him again but he was also nervous about a lot of things.

He was nervous about making mistakes and having a bad first impression on Luke's family.

What if they take one look at him and decide it was all a big mistake?

What if he messes up and Luke doesn't want to be with him anymore?

What if they all make fun of him for thinking that he could be good enough for someone so special like Luke?

So many negative possibilities were filling Calum's mind. His breathing quickened, one of the signs of a beginning panic attack.

Sensing her bestfriend's panicked state, Clarice held Calum's hand and reassured him the everything was going to be okay.

Calum eventually calmed down and nervously looked around to look for Luke.

Calum frowned and his heart sank a little bit when he didn't see him, but Calum saw a woman waving at them sporting a welcoming smile and holding a sign with his and Clarice's name written on it.

"OMG. Liz Hemmings is holding a sign with my name on it! The Queen of the 5SOSFam is holding a freaking sign with my freaking name on it, Cal!!" Clarice grips his arm tightly, causing Calum to wince at the pressure.

Clarice then drags Calum with her along with their bags to where Liz and Andrew Hemmings were.

"Oh my goodness! Honey, he is just too cute for words!" Liz practically squeals as she see's Calum.

Andrew, on the other hand, was still quite wary of the approaching pair. He didn't want to be a little judgemental, he was just making sure.

When the pair were in front of Luke's parents, Calum was right away intimidated by Luke's father.

He gave off that typical scary-overprotective-father vibe but it was sort of dampened by Liz's warm smile.

Clarice just stood there, staring at Liz and Andrew with stars in her eyes.

"You must Calum. I'm Liz- Honey, stop looking at him like that!" Liz lightly slapped her husband in the stomach, causing Andrew to cough a little bit.

"Sorry about him. He's a little protective" Liz winked.

"Its nice to meet the both of you" Andrew smiled, but his eyes held a different emotion.

This just motivated Calum to make the best first impression he could.

"Its a pleasure to meet you too, sir" Calum smiled politely and took Andrew's hand into a firm handshake.

Andrew was taken aback for a fraction of a second, not expecting the sudden confidence boost in Calum. All of his doubts on the boy's intention suddenly flew out the window.
