****Alright guys, my intent is to have this book completed by August 31 the anniversary of Mel's death. If I don't, please don't shoot me. But that's the goal.

And I have decided to do a sequel. The majority of you wanted one.

It's called "If That's What It Takes." Inspired by a song I heard by Tank on his new album. (Any takers for the cover?).

And like I told someone who begged me not to break them up lol, I said if they don't end up together in this book, in the sequel I promise a happy ending.

By the way listen to the theme song - It's amazing!

AUGUST P.O.V. -

Amber posted a picture on Instagram that read : “Sometimes you gotta teach people how to treat you. And if they don’t want want to learn…Let them GO!”  #goodbye

I turned my cellphone toward me and two of my fraternity brothas Quan and Marcus who were out at the club with me. We were all in a VIP booth on the second level of the club that was always reserved for my fraternity every time we rolled thru. We all raised our middle fingers, danced and rapped along into the camera.

A bitch that holler 'bout fuck me?

Nah, fuck that bitch

Fuck that bitch, fuck that bitch

A bitch that holler 'bout fuck me?

Nah, fuck that bitch

Fuck that bitch, fuck that bitch

A bitch that holler 'bout fuck me?

Nah, fuck that bitch

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhahahahahaha” I laughed into the camera and turned it off. I posted it to Instagram with the caption: ...& i mean dat!

“You wild.” Quan laughed and took a sip of his drink.

“Mutha-fucka’s think I’m playing. I’m letting they ass know, you come against me you gon die. That’s just what it is.” I took a sip of the bottle of Vodka I was drinking.

“Nigga you need to calm the fuck down on the vodka.” Quan looked at me concerned.

“Let the nigga live. He been locked in the house ever since he been with that bitch.” Marcus smugly sucked his teeth.

“Watch your fucking mouth.” I said drunkenly and pushed him.

“Dont touch me mutha-fucka. You just called her one.”

“I can do that shit. You can’t.” I took another drink.

“August fareal man. How you gon get home if you drinking like this?” Quan asked.

“I’mma be good.”

“He good Quan stop trippin’. This is the nigga we know. Not that simped out mutha-fucka . Welcome back my nigga.” Marcus dapped me up.

The song changed to K. Camp –Money Baby. I moved my head and swayed a little to the beat.

I like smoking weed, I like getting fly

I like having sex, I like girls who ride

I like my cup full, I like turning up

I like brand new shit so this is what I love to do

I like that money baby

 “August.”
