We all sit in the living room as the pack doctor check out my nameless, unknown mate in the other room. No ones said a word. We all reply her fighting us how weak she look how hurt she looked. Andre was the first to speak. "Should we call Charlie?" 

"He's already been called. He should be here any second." Anna tells him as she cuddles up to him and lays her head on his chest. She had butterfly stitches on her cheek and the back of her head from my mates attack. Andre smoothed her blond hair out of her face taking in her scent. They were mates, I wanted to be there in the room with mine. 

When I saw her...

She was beautiful. Her lightly golden skin was pale and covered with a light layer of dust and dirt. Her neck down was cover in bruises and cuts but but by nature her skin was flawless. She was small in height and unhealthily skinny. With light brown hair that almost blond, and gorgeous dark blue eyes that sadly had an empty look to them. But with or without her flaws she was gorgeous the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on.

"I wish Derrick was here." Nina whimpered. Derrick are Alpha passed away in a suprise rouge attack a few days ago. I was now watching over the pack till we hear back from his other sibblings, and if we don't, I will become Alpha.

"Ya , we all do." I say running my hand throw my hard for the millionth time. "Joe could you make sure every ones running their shift"

"Yes sir." He leave and his presence is replace with Charlie. We all stand as he walks in with his cane in hand.

"Is everything alright?" He asks me. 

"Beta Scott?" The pack doctor calls opening the door. I nod.

"Charlie thank you for coming would you step in with me?" I gestured to the door. He nods unsure. 

"Scott what is the meaning of this--" He stops and looks at my mate. His eyes widen and he takes a seat covering his mouth. "Oh god."

"Tell me who she is." I demanded. She laid on the bed with needle in her arm. and limps wrapped. She looked so peaceful in her sleep. I think I even saw a smile.

"Oh God." He shakes his head. "I thought they killed her. God I shouldn't of stopped looking."

"Who. Is she?" 

"You mustn't know she is to come with me." He stands and walks to her i stand in front of him

"Mine." I growl. "Who is she?"

"You mustn't know! It'll wreak you."

"It will wreak me if I don't" He nods sadly

"She is Helen."

"Helen." It was perfect. I look at here. She was perfect."

"Swift." he say. I choke

"As in Helen Swift the dead sister of Alpha Derrick"

"Do not mention his name here." He says clenching his teeth. "That monster and his father are the reason why she is the way she is. God damn their souls."

I froze, where are Alpha's hurting Helen.

My blood boiled. Alpha John died five years ago. Then Alpha Derrick, if this is true.... They're lucky they died the way they did. If I'd gotten to them..

"Helen died when she was hit by a car."

"She became blind when she was hit by that car. Then they locked her in that damn room. I know I was their. I thought her for months. They said If I said anything they'd kill her, then." He stops looking at her in awe. "Then one day they said I was no longer needed. Warning me to keep quiet if I want my grand daughter to live." 

" Why?"

"They blamed her for her mothers death. And her looking like her infuriated them."

"Your lying get out."

"She needs to come with me."

Get him out of here. Now  Not a second later two members of the pack is in the room one  forcing Charlie to leave.

"Fine I'll leave just let me work with her. Scott please." He shouts the whole way out 

"Make sure he get to his house and doesn't leave." I tell the other.

"Yes, sir."

I walk out with him "Nina!" 

"Ya."

"Stay with her. She'll wake up she'll be comfortable with you."
