The Vamolf Academy - Chapter 1

The Vamolf Academy 

Prologue 

I never believed in supernatural beings. Faeries, ghosts, vampires and werewolves.  

For me, they are just bunch of bulls. They aren't real. They are just part of our imaginations.  

Never did I expect that one day, I would be proven wrong. And that, believe it or not, I belong in their world. 

Chapter 1 

Summer's POV 

Today is the last day that I am going to stay here in my hometown in New York. Why? Because tomorrow, I am moving in California. Together with my real parents.  

**FLASHBACK** 

It started last week. I came home after school to find my mother waiting for me in our living room.  

She seems so serious and deep in thought that she didn't notice me. 

"Hey Mom! What are you doing there? You seem so serious. Chill up!" I told my mom. 

"Oh Im sorry I didn't notice you. Summer, can you sit down with me here? I have something to tell you." mom said. 

"Ok what is it?" I said. 

"Summer, I know that what I am about to say will freak you out so please listen to me first and let me finish. Ok?"  

I just nodded at mom. I am curious on what she is about to say because the last time she became this serious is when dad left us for another woman. 

"Summer, we are not your real parents. Your real parents left you in our care due to some circumstances. They promised to take you back before you turn 16. And just this morning, they called to inform me that they want you back with them. That's why you need to pack your things and leave tomorrow morning and move with them in California." my mom finished.  

She is in the verge of crying by the time she finished talking while I remained frozen in my seat. I can't believe everything I heard. All this time, my life is just a big lie. But I remained strong for my mom. 

"So it's just like that? They gave me to you and dad 16 years ago and now they want me back? What am I, a toy they can just give and take whenever they please?B.S.!"  

I stormed off to my room and there I finally let myself cry. But I started packing my things just like my mom said because I know that I can't do anything about it. 

When I finished packing, I lay down on my bed and called all my friends at school to tell them everything. Snapping my phone closed after calling, I drowned myself in tears to be able to sleep. And lucky enough, I have a dreamless and peaceful sleep. 

The next morning, I woke up early and immediately took a bath and dressed myself up. I chose a black tight fitting jeans and white skirt because I feel comfortable in those. I put on a black off shoulder top with silver designs of chains at the sides. I decided to put on lip gloss, mascara and a little smoky eye shadow.  

I looked at myself 1 last time in my full length mirror. Perfect, I told myself. Not to boast, a lot of guys fall for me at school because of my looks. I stand at 5'7, with a natural dark blonde hair with streaks of brown. My body is slim but not so skinny and have lots of curves that I am proud of. I have long perfectly tanned legs and small heart shaped face. Most of all, my eyes is a dark shade of green. Almost like emeralds but a little darker and have little flecks of gold around.  

I was just about to go down when my mom knocked on my door and peeked inside. 

"Are you ready sweetie? It's time for you to go." mom said. 

"Yes mom I'm ready. I was just about to go down anyways."I said. We rushed down and I hugged my mom goodbye.  

I went in my car and started down the road away from the town, away from my life. I never looked back in fear that I may not be able to leave everything I have behind.  

I finally reached the place after 3 hours of driving and I never thought that my new home is an academy. The guard outside confirmed my identity and I drove inside the academy, not knowing what life awaits me inside.  

I went out of my car and a butler ushered me inside. When I stepped inside, a lot of voices greeted me, 

"Welcome to Vamolf Academy."
