Chapter Four: My Big Pink Surprise!
_______________________________________________________________________
I found my sister looking at more dresses in the back of the store. I grimaced at the thought of me in a dress especially in public. Stupid..stupid..stupid-
"What do you think of this one?" My sister asked, interrupting my inner bashing. Not really sure what to say at this point I just shrugged my shoulders and acted indifferent.
"I don't care." I lied i did care, ill feel silly in that thing but l knew arguing with her further would be pointless. I already agreed to let her pick out my clothes if she gave me, my hair tie back and I'd rather not have another wrestling match in the store again.
So I was stuck.
She rolled her eyes at me and continued to pick out more girly clothing. I sighed inwardly, "Jamie when are we leaving?"
"When I say we're done." You've gotta be kidding me. We'll be here til closing time if she has her way.
"Jamie.." I whined.
"Stop being such a baby, we'll be done soon geez." As long as soon is before four o'clock i'll be fine.
Well I was completely wrong, after we left Hollister she dragged me to tweleve other stores including Victoria Secret.
Yeah we won't discuss that one any further.
Finally we left and went home; I dramaticlly laid on the floor in the foyer too tired to move any more from my spot. How can women do this? Shopping is more work than I could ever imagine.
"Home! I've missed you so much!" I yelled happily caressing the floor beneath me.
"Oh stop being so melodramatic..we were only gone eight hours." I tried sitting up on my elbows but failed miserably so I had my left cheek to the cold floor as l stared up at my sister.
"Well l'm sorry l'm not a frequent shopper." l scolded.
She grabbed my arm and pulled me up from the floor. "Oh my gosh! I almost forgot!" She started dragging me up our main staircase.
"What?" I asked, not too sure l wanted to hear the answer.
"You'll see!" She said in a sing song voice.
We walked over to my door and she finally loosened her death grip on my arm. "Ta da!" She yelled as she opened my door. My eyes widened in horror as I walked into a place that was once my room. The walls were a barbie pink, my bed was now a white canipy with a frilly pink top all my furniture were white with pink flower designs displayed on them and the worst thing of all. My new selves had pictures of more stupid pink flowers and a huge mirror was over my bed.
"So do you like it?" Jamie asked eagerly. I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out I just sat there staring at my sister with my mouth open. I was dumbfounded. "Well?" she pressed.
Finally finding my voice, I spoke. "W-what in the hell d-did you do to my room!" I stuttered still shocked at my rooms new appearance. Her face fell into a frown as she said,
"So you don't like it?"
"No!" I shrieked. "My room is ruined..look at it! It's pink for god sake!" l shuddered.
"This is a part of becoming a lady, Samantha! I told you we had to change your enviorment." She nodded like she was agreeing with herself.
"But pink! and It's Sam! S.A.M..Sam" I scolded.
"Yes! cause as I recall no girly girls have dark blue rooms and are called by a boys name." I sighed and closed my eyes feeling a headache coming on. Taking a deep breath I finally opened my eyes to look at my now disowned sister.
"Fix it.." Was all I said before I walked out of my room and away from her. There was no way in hell I was sleeping in my room tonight and right now I needed a nap; my eyes started drooping and I knew sleep would pull me under very soon.

"I don't wanna wear this.." I groaned looking at my reflextion in the full length mirror. Jamie rolled her eyes at me and pushed me into my bathroom which was the only thing that was left to it's original design.
"You're going to a party you have to look nice."
"Pool party.." I corrected. She cocked an eyebrow at me,
"It's a party..no one has a pool party at night. It's definitely a party." I wrinkled my forehead in thought. A frown appeared on my face when I knew she was right, why did Aiden lie? I don't get it..well I was stupid enough to fall for it so I guess I'm in the wrong too.
