Jasmine.

Another day, another dollar and another annoying day with August. I can understand why he's so angry because I would be too if I was named after a month.

"What do you plan on doing about August," My new friend, Shay, asked.

"I plan on ignoring him. He's never direct to me, so oh well," I shrugged.

We've been in rehearsals for a week straight with no off days and August is still being uptight. I swear he needs to get laid because he is such a pain in my ass.

"Hottie at 12 o'clock," She smirked.

I looked in their direction and light brown eyes was staring at me. He was extremely fine. The way his sugar brown skin glistened in the sun that shone through the glass windows. Don't get me started on those thick, pink lips that he constantly licks.

"Meanie at 3 o'clock," Shay snickered, breaking me from my thoughts.

I whipped my head in that direction and August was staring dead at me, but when our eyes met, he looked away. My first thought was to scrunch my eyebrows together, but I didn't want to draw attention.

"He was totally undressing you with those mesmerizing eyes," She giggled in a sing song voice.

"Nah. It's something different than that," I said lowly.

I don't know what's going on, but I know he'll explain himself soon.

Everyone stood up and walked toward their places, but light brown eyes bumped into me. I blushed lightly.

"Sorry," I apologized, embarrassed.

"It's okay, beautiful," His soft voice rang through my ears.

I smiled then proceeded to my spot. The music began playing as everyone started the choreography on queue. I tried to hide my smile that kept creeping onto my face as I thought about brown eyes. The music cut off abruptly and everyone stopped what they were doing. I looked up and August stood in front of us.

"Jasmine," He called which made me snap my head in his direction.

"Huh," I answered.

"You're off and it's throwing everyone else off," He scolded.

I placed my hands onto my hips while chewing the inside of my cheek. "I thought I was doing just fine." I was embarrassed and on the verge of crying.

"Can you see yourself," He asked, being a complete smart ass.

I rocked side to side. "No."

"Okay, so try to keep up," He smirked before sitting back into his seat.

I wasn't the only person off yet he decides to call me out. Fine. Whatever.

I fell face down into my bed with a towel wrapped around my wet body as tears continued to stream from my eyes. Practice is still weighing on my mind and I don't understand why he continues to bother me. One of the other girls messed up badly in the routine and he didn't say shit. He just sat there still watching me. Waiting for me to mess up.

"Jas, girl, I know you are not crying over him." Donovan sat beside me as the bed shifted.

I sniffled then wiped my face before sitting up. "You don't understand. It's frustrating when somebody constantly picks at you and only you. Especially in front of other people," I sighed.

"Do you want me to go and beat his ass? Because I will," He huffed.

"No. No. I'll handle him, but I need to start packing. The tour kicks off Monday,"
