Float like a butterfly,
Sting like a bee;
Hit left and right,
When you can't see.
Sight has been blinded,
By bright light.
Anger poured into view,
And pain is tight,
Every little mistake,
Is wrapped around;
Your heart.
Breathe in and out,
Hit up and down;
Don't look at the ground,
Keep your eyes up,
Chin, high in the air;
Sweat clinging,
To your hair.
Fire burning,
Stomach churning,
The life you had,
Crushing you to pieces.
Beat the bag,
Let the anger flow out,
The bull inside of you;
Is ready to attack.
Inhale and exhale,
Left hook,
Right hook,
Upper cut;
Stick to the fight.
Give it your,
Hardest hit;
It's when things,
Go all wrong;
That's when you,
Must not quit.
Chest is heaving,
Putting a smile,
On your face;
But deep inside,
You're grieving.
Float like a butterfly,
Sting like a bee;
Hit left and right,
When you can't see...
