I am afraid to post this chapter. IDK why.

Remember I'd mentioned that you'll need tissues soon? Well, I hope ya'll went grocery shopping recently because now's the time to get 'em out!

But before we move ahead... PLEASE READ THIS! PLEASEEEEE!

I am not a doctor or a nurse. I have no idea about childbirth because I never experienced one and google provides limited help. Whatever you read in this chapter is a little bit of truth and A LOT of my imagination! This is how I imagined this chapter/ the climax so this is how I wrote it. It might not be true in real life. Entender? Good. (PS I barely speak Spanish so I might have said that incorrectly *sheepish smile*)

Ready?

Here we go!

The final chapter for this story! Before I post an Epilogue.

*Unedited*

2 days later.

1 AM

Bianca's contractions had become 7 minutes apart. It made her clench her jaw every time and she was having trouble falling asleep because of how painful they were. She was walking around in the room with Luke beside her because she said she wanted someone's hand to 'hold,' only that her vice grip was cutting off the blood supply to his fingers.

"Are you sure you should be walking? I think you should rest." He said, pointing at the bed.

She shook her head. "The doctor said I need to walk. It'll help draw the contractions closer."

They had called her doctor and Bianca had told him about her contractions but he had asked her to visit when her contractions became 5 minutes apart.

"Luke, you can sleep for a while if you want. I'll let you know when I feel like we should go." He was reluctant but she persuaded him sleep for a bit. He had woken up at 6 that morning and had been at the office all day.

But he knew that sleep wouldn't come to him. He was too tensed for that. Just watching her walk around made everything feel like it was normal, though it wasn't the truth. She was waiting till it was time for them to be visit the hospital. They would go there and she'll have their baby...then what? Will he go back home holding their son in his hands but without Bianca beside him? He was dreading that. So, he closed his eyes and willed himself to block all the thoughts away.

Bianca had stopped questioning herself about what would happen. She had left it to God, if there was one.

She tried resting a little and walked when she felt like. That was all until 4 in the morning, when her contractions were about 5 minutes apart.

She changed out of her silk night gown and woke Luke up. When he was gone in the bathroom to freshen up, her eyes fell on his clothes that he had kept on the bed to change into. She quickly grabbed his jeans and slipped the letter she'd written for him in his back pocket.

She had thought about giving him the letter the day she had written it. Then she realized that she wanted him to read it after she was gone. She wasn't about to make this harder for him than it already was by making him read the letter right now.

The hospital was 20 minutes away. Every time she had a contraction Luke would hold her hand and drive with the other. He would hear her sharp in-takes of breath and clench his jaw because there was nothing he could do to help her apart from being there for her.
