Chapter 68 - "Honesty is all you need. "

Chapter 68

“Rachel, I honestly cannot believe you right now.  First of all, you’re pregnant. You shouldn’t be going to prom anyways. And second of all, you’re going with Niall??” Danielle shouted loudly.

Rachel threw herself on Danielle’s bed and sighed. “YES, YES, YES! A thousand times yes! Gosh Danielle, I don’t see why this is such a big deal. Just because I’m pregnant, it doesn’t mean that I can’t go! I’m not giving birth today. I’m only a month.  And why is it a big deal that I’m going with Niall? We’re going as friends, why is it so bad that I’m going with him?

Danielle hesitated for a second not wanting to spill the truth.

“I’m… I’m not saying it’s a big deal, I’m just saying that you don’t want to confuse Harry and Zayn like that. I mean what about them? What are they going to do now? And Niall? You know, just in case, you don’t want him developing feelings for you either do you?”

Rachel burst into laughter. “Oh my god, Danielle stop it, I can’t breathe. Did you really just say that? Okay get one thing here, me, and Niall? Yeah we would NEVER develop feelings for each other. We’re just those kinds of friends that are so close, and we could never…fall in love.”

Danielle raised her eyebrows. “Closer than you can imagine…” she muttered under her breath.

“What?” Rachel asked curiously.

Danielle shook her head, and climbed onto the bed, and sat across from Rachel.

“So, anyways, what happened when you told your mom?”

Rachel’s eyes widened. “Oh don’t even ask about that. Things didn’t go so well... I got the whole ‘you’re an irresponsible child, and how could you have ruined your life’ lecture. We fought for hours, and then finally mum made up with me. I guess she realized that what was done was done. There was nothing that could change that.”

“Well it’s good you’ve patched up things with your mom, what about Mr. Morgan?

Rachel’s face fell into a frown. “Still nothing. I didn’t bother even calling him. Mom even asked in case I wanted to let him know, I told her I didn’t and she just nodded and said okay. He really is out of our lives for good now. But to be honest, I really do miss him. I haven’t seen him in ages. A girl needs a father once in a while. I don’t even know where he lives where I could go find him and meet him just once. He left when I was only 8; I only have my childhood memories with him.”

Danielle sat up beside Rachel and hugged her tightly. “Things will all be better soon. Don’t you dare show me anymore tears woman, I’ve already seen enough ever since you found out about the baby. You’re going to be a wonderful mother, and have all your friends and family supporting you through it all. This child will grow up and be proud of having such wonderful parents, like you and Harry.”

Rachel blushed and held in the tears. Danielle was right. It was time to act tough and strong. If not for herself, she had to do it for Harry and Zayn. This baby couldn’t come between them.  She would do everything she could to make sure Harry or Zayn don’t leave her, and she would bring up this baby…her baby.

“But there is one thing….” Danielle began and her eyes faced the floor.

Rachel moved back startled. “What is it?”

“Whatever you do…keep that baby away from Maria. Who knows what that bitch will do.” Danielle winked.

“Oh don’t even joke around about that, I’ll actually have to be a bit careful. That phsyco will do anything. And I have a feeling she’s gotten Kate on her side too.” Rachel said crossing her arms in front of her.
